Hi guys, am really looking into these units. Quick question, can they be daisy chained without the xled controller? Also, can it be paired with a telos growcast and daisy chained for that setup? Thanks if you have the time!

If i split and use 1 ballast for each half so 480w each. If so in what settings i need to put ballast? Bcs no have 480w settings. So do i need to let at 400w setting? And if i let full light with 2 ballast 950w so what settings do i need keep ballasts? Both at 600 or mix. Bit confuse mate. Never used led.ta

Hi, yes the standard 240v dimmable digi ballast will work but the DE or Utopia 630 versions will not.

Why is the green Omega Pro digi ballast more expensive than the Omega black digi ballast? (both have same 250/400/600/660 settings)

I believe the Pro Ballast is more efficient and provides a higher, more even output than the Black version when used with HPS bulbs.

If it's a 720w led fixture and the digital ballast runs at 600w and 660w I believe on boost, how do I get the full 720w from this unit, I'm looking at buying one, the best ballast I've used was adjusta-watt

sweet just back home from the local hydro and got the 600w version 2 for a dbl tent 120 x 240b x 200 Going to use them for summer flowering and HPS in the winter and just vent into the house for 'free' heating.

you dont mention they have lower tier SM281b LED from Samsung, not the industry leading 301B or 301H top tier diodes. Its a good light but nothing spectacular.

The grow light covers at maximum 1.5mtr square so you can put as many plants as you like in that space. To be realistic one to four plants would be best under this light.

Very nice i didnt know you could use your current ballast if you have ones that is. Should be a nice lil saving !. Defo going to look into LEDs this summer and keep the temps down and do hps in the winter.

600+ setting is not 720w its 715w I read, if I remember correctly, from the website or the manual. But I can't complain Lumee sells the cheapest watts on the market.

A 600W HPS would double the yield of that LED and cost a lot less. A professional grower would never use LEDS for fruiting and Flowering plants. Nobody in the industry uses them for raising crops so why should anyone else not do exactly the same?

@GMT439, You obviously don`t know how to grow good or know anyone that knows how to grow good. With the right knowledge/ experience and equipment (Especially LED Lights) great crops can be achieved. I`ve seen people pulling numbers that you probably never seen anyone do with hps. Leds are cheaper to run and a lot less heat too. I`m not talking about the purple leds. I`m talking about the 6 or 8 bar units that run actual 600 watts up to 1200 watts. They are pure beasts. I think you need to up your knowledge and get with the times.

Please use protective glasses. You only get one set of eyes and that brightness will only damage them. Anything over 50w and that unit is 10 times as much

I've had the 5x5 since launch and it's been wonderful. The box when I got it from shipping was clear something heavy dropped on my box and there was only a small dent on one of the bars
