I just bought one of these Park bike stands for my bike repairs; great stand for $254.

A little backstory would be nice for those of us who are not up on our Yellowstone news. I thought the west was in a terrible drought . This looks like flooding. Give us some context. Inquiring minds want to know.
@MontanaHarvestor2 жыл бұрын
1/4 Montana flooded, 2/3s of Montana in drought, the other 9% is just right. Red Lodge lost 7 bridges from the flooding. Yellowstone Park is shut down for now.

Good video. Make sure you put some practice time in the dark for sure or out some reflection tape on the knee hook and on the step where that hook hits.

I learned the hard way, I just broke the limbs on my TRX 7 using the same bow press you have, the rubber on the end of the clamps broke and they slide out of the limbs causing them to hit the limbs stops. I just bought Last Chance Archery press, it's the pack and go version, I will never look back, the peace of mind I have now working on my bow is priceless, I'm glad I found new limbs on eBay for replacement.
@tonyallen91313 жыл бұрын
I had the same thing happen using the same press on my bowtech reign 6, not only did the rubber ends come off, the split limb adapters ended up bending due to the amount of pressure needed to press the bow.

How has it been? Would you do it to the rest of your steps?
@pkovago4 жыл бұрын
I have not. I have been using this one though. I would still like to get it to the point where it does not dig in at all. I tried rubber feet, which worked perfectly, except they get destroyed from the pressure that gets exerted when cammed.
@jacobbell87024 жыл бұрын
Dose the 2nd aider connect to your knee or your foot? Thanks for the videos!
@stingray61144 жыл бұрын
Pete! Are you right handed or left? I’m right handed and for me it makes sense to put my swaider on the right foot sense I would normaly make my first step with my right. I’m seeing everybody do opposite as putting there swaider on left foot. I just received my 30 mins before work so I didn’t have much time to play with it lol

I am right handed but it would make no difference to me which leg I placed it on. Go for which ever feels right to you.

What is it just a cam buckle strap and aiders?
@pkovago4 жыл бұрын
Pretty much. The aider also has metal loops (and cam buckle). The strap around the tree has acam buckle, a flat hook for quick release, and two metal hooks for the aiders.
Love the video and the mod! What is the strap and buckle called? Where do you get them?
@pkovago5 жыл бұрын
I got them at strapworks. Just one inch webbing, a flat hook and a cam buckle.

@paulcrave91495 жыл бұрын
looks solid. I wouldn't mind having one WE step to use for a similar setup with my Ameristeps.
@pkovago5 жыл бұрын
I have been doing that for the past two seasons. I had two ameristeps on the rope of one of my WE Steps. I was using two steps plus the two ameristeps to get around the entire tree. It works just fine. The ameristeps just put you a few inches below the WE Steps because of their design. They are more solid though than the Bullmans.
@HeartlandMakesAndOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Nicely done on this video my friend. I like this idea, and it looks like it is a good solution. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a blessed week. dale
@pkovago5 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I just ordered some Bullman Steps. Hopefully they work as anticipated. Could be a very simple and effective platform to go with the WE Steps. These straps really shine though if you use Steps for your platform because the fine tuning is so easy. The flat hook I am using with the cam really speeds things up too because you are not weaving a strap through a buckle.

What are those square dangling things that are clanking as you climb?

That is one of my "platforms". They are aluminum furniture brackets. Inexpensive and work great. I have a half dozen I set up as a "permanent stand".
