The wobbles on beam are most likely due to her growth spurt. Hopefully she will be able to adjust quickly. It can take perseverance when it happens so fast like that but its doable . She's not the first to go through that.

She never finishes her routine before saluting the judge at the end. She squat lands then salutes. That's an automatic deduction that she just gives away.

These E scores are stupid. I get it’s domestic qualifiers but there is 0 need to fill the gymnasts with false hope, so much overscoring leads to much bigger gaps between the real scores they end up receiving internationally, and personally it wouldn’t fill me with a lot of confidence going to an international comp. and getting scored significantly lower than I normally do

Actually I don't think in international competition could stay in that way, having hands moving around and distracting the gymnast in few occasions. He interacted with her even before landing. Definitely was the reason to fall down as was like obstacle around that you need to skip.

I just want to give Zoey a shout out. As a gymnast who couldn't make it through a routine without losing concentration and crashing if I felt like my foot wrap was the wrong shade of beige...let alone flapping around and falling off...much respect to her for nailing this routine like nothing was happening.

I did not see her feet hit the bar anywhere, but if I remember correctly it’s only a deduction now if it disrupts the swing

@@colesmith7509 They're being super precise about those things now. Her back leg didn't get close enough to her head on both the switch ring and ring jumps. But I still think 7.9 is too low for execution for a basically solid routine. The D score also looks sus, I wonder if she lost something on a requirement.

@@singsongeric The 7.9 is ridiculous considering the obnoxiously high E scores thrown out during the competition My favorite was an 8.3 with a fall on UB. Bars probably had the most egregious and inconsistent scoring

Her head almost reaches her mid leg during the rings….they should have been credited. She has long legs….bending her back leg more would make it look ugly. Her ring shape was beautiful.
