Would it still work if you used a curly tail grub on the road runner? I'm having alot of trouble catching decent size saugeye. I only do fish and release I'm really just trying to get my fish ohio master angler. I've already done channel cat/large mouth/Blue gill. I catch saugeye at deer creek and it's a joke. I would say it would work. At Indian the weed lines are gone. Cause the weeds are gone. But should be back fall and spring. Don’t think there’s a solid technique to catch big one more than finding them

Nice video of Indian Lake! There's alot of catfish around Pew island. I went there a couple weeks ago. I was fishing the canals out of Moundwood trying to get the lilly pad section end of the canals. Caught a couple dinks and a about 16" that flipped off. Only hitting on Yamamoto Senko pumpkin seed green/neon green tail wacky. Good choice of a reel. I love Abu Garcia baitcasters but my wacky set up has been a spinning Pfleuger President XT and MH fast 6'6" Abu Garica Vendetta rod this year. Keep the videos coming!
@off-roadeverything59464 ай бұрын

@@off-roadeverything5946 I like those old Berkley lightning rods. The Shock model didn't agreed with me. Just my opinion, I'm no expert. My favorite rod is the Abu Garica Veritos 2.0 but I lost it by accidently dropping in the water couple weeks ago. I want to try and Ark or Impulse rod. A G Loomis, Dobyns, St Croix or Fenwick are a little bit out of my budget especially I keep knocking off rods in the water.😁

There is a market for guides for renting kayak etc, like you have a extra kayak and all the gear and some one just shows up that would be like $350 or so imo cause you gotta get your money back for gear etc. I don’t think there’d be a huge market for someone who has a kayak and gear already I think you’d best to target the casual guy that only goes fishing a couple times a year or the people that are interested in yaks but what to experience it before spending 4k on one
