was in process of ordering this but Dell customer service was such a let down decided never again - I wont even use DellFed for my site any longer the quality of components has become so hit and miss we are searching for other vendors for a million plus a quarter contract.

If you still check the messages on this old video, i have a question. Does a RTX 5000 work in these or in 17 R5's? It has a TDP of only 110W? Does it automaticaly downclock itself by those 10W to reach the limit of the port itself? Or does it simply crash when required to pump 110W, but can't extract more than 100W from the port? Do these GPUs support undervolting? Is there any way to reduce the power draw by those mere 10W? It seems like such a stupid impediment from building the ultimate MXM laptop, a 17 R5 with RTX 5000. I mean, that should be more powerful than the top spec Area 51m.

Don’t get mad at me, but you have nothing to do with this profession. When I saw that you recommended holding the power button for 10 seconds to discharge any residual voltage, I understood that you don't know the electronic principles behind the power and standby functions. What you and others like you need to understand is that the power-on of a laptop is done by a KBC (Keyboard Controller) which is essentially a microcontroller working in tandem with the BIOS. Its role is to initiate the power-on sequence for all the voltage rails in the laptop (to power them on) and provide power to the CPU, NorthBridge, peripherals, etc. This microcontroller is powered by two standby voltages, 5V and 3.3V, which are continuously supplied by the laptop’s battery, even when the laptop is off. What you should know is that when you remove the battery (not the BIOS battery), the standby voltages (5V and 3.3V) disappear, which causes the microcontroller to lose power. As a result, it won’t initiate the power-on sequence. That power button connects directly to this chip (KBC controller). Since it no longer has standby voltages, pressing it for 7 hours instead of 10 seconds won’t discharge any residual voltage at all. The power-on sequence occurs by shorting a 3.3V voltage to ground - that’s the power-on voltage, not the standby voltage. If the standby voltage is missing, so is the power-on voltage when you press the power button for 10 seconds. It bothers me that people who know nothing about electronics talk nonsense and do things they don’t understand - things that if an expert saw them, they’d laugh out loud. Take the time to learn, get informed, and then give proper advice

Other features include: HIFI sound system, Harmon Kardon sound system, cooling ventilated seats, soft-close doors. all-wheel steering, m-sport, paddle shifters, adaptive suspension, dynamic handling package, shadow-line trim, sport transmission, premium interior, luxury seats, rear heated seats, rear ventilated seats, rear (quad) climate control, multiple versions of the knight vision, and there is also multiple color choices for trim of the interior, with silver M-Sport silver trim available for upgrade. There are also multiple more options to mention. This is the full screen on this car which was optional, there was a smaller screen available. The heated seats and steering wheel were also optional features added to this car in the video. (not standard) Other options added to this car include the rear window shade, rear side window shades. The PDC (parking sensors) were also optional. The rear camera/ back-up camera was standard however. There is a few other interior options such as upgraded headliner etc. On some models the usb in the glovebox is not present. It is correct that some cars have seats that fold down and have an access portal/ hole through the location of the rear seat center console/ arm rest.

Hi, first of all, thanks, it takes me A LOT of time to finally see this video, but it worked like a charm. For people who have a Dell G15 5530 (core i5 13450HX) like me, I can desactivate BD PROCHOT (finally not in grey in ThrottleStop) and undervolt my CPU, but I don't know why, even if I disabled LOCK UNDERVOLTAGE in UMAF, I can't modify the values in ThrottleStop. I did it old fashioned way, directly in this UMAF BIOS, now I can use this Core I5 at full performance. THANKS A LOT ! (And no bug with the official BIOS when you reboot)

One quick comment. When set to "Enhanced" on the receiver my LG C1 HDMI self check it gets flagged as NG. I have to set it to Standard for the diagnostics to read OK. The receiver would run hot and automatically lower the volume. Thought I had a defective receiver until I figured this out.
