@@TheRealSimpsons1 found that I didn’t need to flip the bulb in the holder when they didn’t work Jsut rotated the holder 180 degrees and all work fine. Super bright. Fuel and temp ones weren’t working at all and clock went on and off at its own leasure lol. All super bright green now. Wish I’d done a video myself for my channel but have pics and videos so may post a simple one soon. Thanks again

@@OldeSchoolRcUk glad you got it sorted. I'm currently doing electrical upgrades on batteries and earth connections. The old girl has had a peaceful summer with just the one road trip to the outer islands here in Shetland.

hi I was wondering what road this is as I'm moving to sandness in July and would love to drive this route as I love photography

This is Whitness through to Bixter. Sandness is about 6 miles off the main road at a place called Bridge of Walls, pronounced Wazz. I'm sure I have a video somewhere of the road from Bridge of Walls through to Sandness and if it isn't already uploaded I'll stick it in tonight.

Despite how grotty Thamesmead has been looking over the years and how it could've looked better when it was first built in the late 60s, I'm still sad it's all getting pulled down now as I'd become associated with it through my childhood. Hence why I had mixed feelings when we moved away to Suffolk in 2010. Glad to get away from all the stabbings, murders, muggings, vandalisms, drunks, people mouthing off etc. But sad to leave my old house behind. Plus they'd already built that new block of flats on the right in place of the Pyramid Club and kids play area.

Thank you for this video, I’m moving to Sandness but I’ve never even been there yet. I can’t afford a home locally in Cornwall but I found an old building there. I’m moving for peace and quiet so I’m glad there’s not a lot of crime. Here it’s hell, souped up cars and bikes racing around and nightclub across the rd is extremely loud duf duf duf. I will miss trees though, can I plant trees in Shetland? I love cherry trees and all trees, really.

You can grow trees but you need to protect them from wildlife and weather. Winds here are the biggest thing when it comes to trees but wild rabbits and hares are not far behind.

It’s the LEDs themselves that only work one way around. If a bulb doesn’t work then reverse the polarity and it will work.But my van has same issues except my heater direction control is jammed so I suspect a frozen cable - try the wd40 truck and if not then a new cable.
