Yeah, hes not some fucked up old warlord. This is a move to see how far these "superior Roman men" will stoop to get what they want. Romans like Brutus and Cassius probably look down upon his kind as nothing more than depraved savages. This King was testing Cassius to see how far he would degrade himself to please a barbarian warlord. Cassius agreeing to this whole Baboonery lark is simply showing the King just how desperate he is. It was a test, and Cassius failed. Or beardy man really just was a collossal pervert, they do exist after all.

aside from fact that this was a great show, bithyinia is not Eastern Turkey, it is north and north western Turkey on the Black Sea side, where there were no camels nor there are any palm trees.

King of Bithynia? at the time of the war againts Brutus and Cassius? the last king of Bithynia was Nicomedes IV who bequeathed his kingdom to Rome in 74 BCE, 30 years before this battle. Also the kingdom of Bithynia had been Hellinised a long time already and a king would never used the Persian tiara as a crown but use a diadem as symbol of power. what is shown her is some petty Parthian or Armenian despot. Not even close to a Hellinised king.

Man hearing these songs take me back to the beta days early 2010. I was so addicted I remember my friends coming over and hanging out watching me play all day. My GF at the time would get annoyed for how long I played and not giving her attention. She would just be sprawled out on my bed reading a book. I played this on a Dell Dimension Pentium 4 and a lot of the shaders wouldn't process so the game looked like a literal glitchy cartoon. But, I didn't care. I put dozens of hours into that beta and I haven't looked back since. Zerg main for the last 13 years. Still not GM good but I still enjoy it.
