The mausoleums at Recoleta have also crypts. Most of them are for the dead of a whole family. Many have basements and they may have 12 or more coffins inside. Remberthat in Argentina Doctor is any college student with doctorate studies. And traditionally medical professionals and attorneys are called "doctor" even when they don't have a doctorate study. So many of the dead would be doctors but many of them where attorneys and politicians. "Tostado" is a special sandwich of Argentina. It has white or brown bread in very thin slices without any crust and a thin filling of ham and cheese slices. One of the best way to eat is toasted. McDonald's took the concept but made it the "McDonald's" way keeping the ham and cheese but using a bread more like the buns of the hamburger.

Café Tortoni is known for historic reasons, but the food is not better than any good place. For your children the Café Tortoni would mean nothing. In Argentina we eat 4 milion alfajores each day. There are some which are more traditional (like the first you ate, made with corn starch instead of wheat flour) or from different regions of Argentina (Santa Fe, Córdoba, Mar del Plata have their own alfajores). There are three main types but all have two or three cookies with a sweet filling between them and then something covering the whole. The most usual filling is "dulce de leche" (milk jam not to be confused with caramel) but also can be some jams of different fruits. The covering may be chocolate ("alfajor de chocolate"), powdered sugar/meringue ("alfajor de dulce de leche"). Where you eated is not a playground for children but "healty places" where you have gym machines to exercise. And the food you are eating are the famous empanadas. There are two main types of empanadas: baked or fried. And the fillings can be: minced meat with soft spices (carne suave) or hot spices (carne picante). Other traditional fillings are ham and cheese, cheese and onion, sweet corn ("humita"), chicken. The saussage is called "chorizo" and the sandwich is the "choripan" (from "chorizo" and "pan" (bread)). It's a very popular sandwich and you can put chimichurri (a special sauces used with grilled meats) or with "salsa criolla" (onion, garlic, red/yellow/green bellpeppers). I wouldn't put hot sauce on a chorizo. Argentina has a strong familiy sentiment. Christmas and New Year Eve are always a big gathering of the family. For the couples, usually one is with the side of the bride, and the other is with the side of the groom. May be New Year Eve then has the gathering of friends after beeing to dinner with the family. On the other hand, Buenos Aires, NEVER sleeps. There are places open 24Hs, but New Year , Labor Day (May 1st) and Christmas usually are days with very little activity. If you want traditional restaurants you should look for Pizzeria (Pizzas) or Parrilla (grilled meat).

The grilled cheese is called "Provoleta". It's a slice of provolone cheese with origan and spices, grilled on a special pan. The schnitzel can be of three types: "Milanesa de carne" (beef slice breaded), "Milanesa de Pollo" (the same but made with chicken) or "Suprema" (chiken breast breaded). Then you can add more ingredients: "a la pizza" (tomato sauce and melted cheese), "a la suiza" (only melted cheese), "a la napolitana" (tomato sauce, melted cheese and tomato slices), "a caballo" (with two fried eggs) o "medio caballo" (only one fried egg). Yours was with tomato sauce, ham and cheese. The usual side dish for "milanesas" is french fries, but you can ask for mashed potatoes, mashed pumpkin or half and half. At some moment you see little half-circles dumplings. Those are empanadas, and we usually eat them with the hand, not with fork and knife. Probably the "cazuela" was a "Pastel de papas" which is mashed potatoes on top and minced juicy meat below made in the oven.

Disney allows pregnant women to sail until 24 weeks, so you should be good on timing if she will be 20 weeks. I recommend still talking to her doctor as they can give you tips specific to her and that may help put the mind at ease.

first lesson...don't pull a camper with a car. Too much weight behind you putting stress on your rear axle. Just because you can get it to move your camper, doesn't mean it's the right tow vehicle for the qright your dragging behind.

Once again late to the party. Grew up in CNY and didn't move that far away since. Heids and Hofmann are quite the staple. Love the snappy/coney, but it is definitely a different taste to them. If I hadn't grown up in the area, I don't know if I would like them as much as I do now. Anyway, a fun little story of the 2 cities: Rochester (Red Wings, affiliated with the Nationals) and Syracuse (Mets) have minor league baseball teams, and every now and then the 2 of them will have special promotion nights where it's the Duel of the Dishes: the Rochester Plates vs. the Syracuse Salt Potatoes. The winner of those games claims the Golden Fork Trophy.

I'm late to the party. My younger sister lives in RI and introduced me to the RI style years ago. It's a toss up between that and the New England style. A really really good NE style beats RI, but it's hard to find that really good NE style. Would never have known RI style was a thing if it wasn't for my younger sister living in RI though! She took me, my mom, and my dad to an Iggy's, but I don't think it was the exact one that you went to here. This video brought back memories of the trip all the same though. :)

This is what happens when your traveling with a beta male that has ZERO MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE. Those steering racks take about 2 hours to replace (yes ive done it myself in my Lincoln mkt same driveline as that year explorer) but this is why my wife loves me and we have money! Because when things break I fix them! My electric steering cost me $400 to fix but when you have a man that has women hands. It cost you $2400!

We don't have a travel trailer but we DO have a 2022 RAM 2500 Hemi 4x4 Laramie. One thing we noticed is that the truck needs to be refueled about every 2 hours which is about when we need to stop for toilet use and snacks. Plenty of power in the mountains and the transmission shift limiter works well as an engine brake. Payload of 3100 pounds allows for 5 adults and all their luggage.

Your bags get a nice beach vacation at your final destination, with or without you. General rule of thumb: bags always go if domestic, bags only go with you for international. And they’ll only go as far as that specific listing. So full itinerary or leg for leg.

We went to Azul Fives back in 2015 (when it was called that) before we had kids and loved the resort. Only issue was we stayed in one of the newer blocks that was really far from the beach so we had to walk quite a distance (or take their trollies) to get to and from the beach back to our room. Now we have a 4 year old and a 1 year old so we aren't sure how convenient that would be when we need to take the little one for his naps throughout the day. Did you find that to be an issue?

I literally have been looking at doing the same thing with the exact camper but was told to buy a used one of these. But I figured they're having a good sale on a brand new one and we'll habe to finance one which is easier to finance brand new. Still with rental costs and landlords and management companies basically shaking you upside down for all your loose change this is exactly what I want to do. Its just my husband and I and 2 tiny dogs. You are brave doing it with 2 kids. How is the camper holding up? How is it in extreme heat or cold? I'm still going ti buy one of these ill get a space Hester and better quality ac if I have to.

We loved it! It’s a very basic camper so it’s easy to fix if something goes wrong. Stays cool/warm depending on how you want it to Again, size and simplicity are helpful in this area!
