Thank you for the tribute to my town (Caen) ! It's nice to see it being presented in such a fun light. Just one correction: there are two "Abbayes" in Caen, on opposite ends of the town center. The one you showed at 3m11s. is the "Abbaye aux Hommes" (the Mens' Abbey) which was a functioning Abbey for monks until the French Revolution, after which point it served as a boys' school under the various regimes until the 1950s when it became the town hall which it is to this day. Guillaume le conquérant is buried in the church attached (Eglise St. Etienne) to the Abbaye aux Hommes. His wife, Mathilde, is buried in the Women's Abbey ("Abbaye aux Dames") on the opposite side of town--equally beautiful with a 'versailles' like garden behind it. Thankfully things are working out. My best friend's boyfriend she dated for almost two years and I are together now but my best friend and her ex that's now my boyfriend are still close as friends and she's very supportive of us. Pretty much what happened is my best friend moved two states away in summer 2022 and I moved there to be with my best friend. When I first met her boyfriend, we kind of did that Hallmark movie eyes lock fall in love thing, but we spent so long denying our feelings for each other. We kept everything suppressed, he did a better job than I did I think, but we never pursued anything when they were together. But I noticed when the three of us would hang out, me and her boyfriend would talk to each other. I kept reminding him to pay attention to his girlfriend and he always thanked me for the reminder and I made sure to not make her the third wheel. We did everything we could to not fall in love with each other for the sake of my best friend. Eventually the two of them decided while they're good for each other, they're not perfect for each other, but still work great as friends. She even had a long talk with me reassuring me that I did nothing wrong and neither did he, them breaking up was nobody's fault and she even encouraged me to get together with him. And so, I asked him out and we're together now and I'm still just so amazed at how into me he is. I'm nowhere near as pretty as my best friend or as interesting but he looks at me like I'm a supermodel and he loves talking to me. We even have our own weird nicknames for each other that only make sense to each other. I still sometimes feel guilty even though my best friend's always like "Jamie, you didn't do anything wrong, if anything you were extremely respectful of our relationship" which does help. I know my situation is "best case scenario" but I just wanted to share an example of it working out.

It depends on the circumstances! If I dated someone and it did not work out, and I don’t have feelings for that person.. why would I have a problem of a friend of mine being with that person?? If I still have feelings towards and ex then yes… that would hurt and I don’t see that as ok. But .. if I don’t want to be with a man, he is not someone I would share my life with… why would I care a friend of mine does have the chemistry and the love for them..??? I don’t understand!! I don’t think is a straight NO. I have an ex that I don’t even want to talk to.. I still feel one of my female friends has always been attracted to him ( we don’t choose our feelings just our actions ). I though about it and I would not care at all!!! If they are happy! I don’t want that guy for me..

Caen and Bayeux have to be seen yes, don't forget Le Mémorial museum in Caen. Lots to see on the whole coast regarding DDay landings Try the north east area Deauville ( Aka Paris 21st arrondissement) to Honfleur and inland known as Pays D'Auge. You can also do bungee jumping at viaduc de la Souleuvre, plenty of very decent golf courses if you're into that. And if you have time push to south west Normandy and visit le Mont Saint Michel.
