Im from Southern California & and I've never trusted tap water since watching Erin Brockovich. When I have to boil water, I still use filtered water. You best believe im only drinking bottled water if I travel.

Tap water is fine everywhere in Italy, except those places where it isn't fine anywhere in the world. If you simply drank tap water and it caused you problems, I'd get a check from a doctor, maybe there's something wrong with you
