Nice video! I am interested in knowing about your experience with the 671. According to the specs on Sab Foil site, it has a very good low end, and an excellent top end speed! this is quite surprising... I recently purchased the 699 to add more speed to my 633, but at the moment I am very disappointed, the 699 resulted very similar to the 633... I also was looking at the 800, since in theory it is good for pumping and surfing while having at the same time good end speed...So my last question is what to you prefer between 800 and 671? thanks!!

Ug, you really want to get SUPER training so you can get all the pieces of glider control correct. You are literally weightshifting backwards making it 10 times harder on yourself. If you simply did it correctly all the load would go away and you wouldn't need other people getting drug behind you. You were simply doing it wrong and backwards. Take SUPER training and your skills will jump to a level very few acting as instructors even comprehend.
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
@@AvengerIl The lie doesn't work though after posting evidence showing the opposite. You literally are weight shifting backwards making it 50 times harder than it actually would be with proper training. Naturally you are oblivious to this fact but if you actually use some rational thought process you could actually try to correct techniques. They would work instantly and the fact that they work would allow you to instantly know that you didn't actually receive proper training let alone uber training. Up to you if you don't care about truth or your life. It's only my moral obligation to share the facts. Up to you if you want to ignore the facts that would help you drastically.
@DellSchanze
@DellSchanze Жыл бұрын
@@AvengerIl Ah yea weight shifting backwards, holding onto people wrong because they don't have proper skills to do it themselves and loading the glider wrong is all "training".... You can react irrationally or you can actually try the perfected techniques and see instantly that they work with HUGE results. The second you turn left even a bit the drag and load of the glider would just disappear and you would no longer need people hanging onto you. In fact it works so well you could literally bring it up sideways all completely with no hands on the brakes for control. Or you can just talk trash and ignore facts from actual experts who's students can do what your instructor can't. It's silly and illogical but that's how some of you are. It's the way it goes.

Thanks, that information really helps. I've noticed the surge tendency in some other videos. It sounds like we're pretty close in weight. I was thinking about a small becauseI live in the Rockies and everybody here flies heavily loaded because of the turbulent mountain air. But now I'm going to consider the medium because I'm starting to fly XC and eventually I want to do some vol biv. I won't be ready for a C wing for quite a while, been flying for about 18 months

As another poster mentions clearly the wind speed (at wing height so it would be typically less at ground level) is clearly a reasonable amount below 'trim speed' (typical trim = 20kts = 24mph = 38km/h = 10 m/s) personally I wouldn't guess as low as 13, perhaps nearer to 15-16kts range, certainly no need for assistance! That all said it was a nice smooth launch 🙂
@ParaglidingScotland
@ParaglidingScotland Жыл бұрын
I personally own about forty paragliders, a couple of the 'historic' wings (80's and early 90's) have slower trim (34-36km/h), a few have faster trim (40km/h) but the vast majority trim around 37-38.

Why use the g chute on the phantom? It’s a very low aspect ratio wing. Best wing I have ever flown by the way. This was a real big shot by Nova. I have now been flying 30 years and never have i flown a wing longer than 3 years… besides this one. F… best wing ever!

@@AvengerIl she is AMAZING and so underated! She did a cover of Kate Bush's Running up that Hill, which Stanger Things made popular again, her cover is so much better than the original.
