Hello friend that comes from carburetor or adapts that to the motorcycle say that the injection is more gastone and the answer is not this good I ask you since I am interested in one of this SM400 since it is more modifiable than the DR650.

For that section at 4:12, instead of going around that rock (directly to your left) and forcing yourself to make a sharp awkward right turn, go straight, roll the small drop, and the right turn will be much easier.

aayyyy now thats a rare one to see someone at the local. sadly MUCH of the peninsula has been obliterated from landslides, city intervention, surrons, or simple neglect. if you want to see northside stuff, lemme know.
@S2_FreshАй бұрын
That is unfortunate. PV has its share of hidden gems for sure. Gnarly jumpline that is way above my skill level that not a lot probably know about haha. I might have to take you up on that tho!
@TeddyParkerАй бұрын
@@S2_Fresh ya ive gotten most of it but after a scary case on the 20 footer im kinda iffy on that line. its just so loose and singletrack for jumps of that size lol the fenceline is pretty fun tho (maybe aside from the fence) but its easy if you clear the jump before it. basically the same jump.
@S2_FreshАй бұрын
@@TeddyParker Yeah I've done everything on that trail except the fence jump. I just keep backing out, but I'll get it soon enough.
@TeddyParkerАй бұрын
@@S2_Fresh what i will say is... people freak out about the fence and go too fast. the reality is if you clear the long n low jump BEFORE it. thats the exact same jump basically. but as you're going down the hill. you are gaining speed so people tend to fear the fence and let off the brakes and then they get a HARSH over shoot. the reality is if you just look at it, its clear you can go SUPER slow. but its best to just regulate speed with feather braking after the jump before it. and then ride it at moderate trail speed. best way to hopefully catch some transition since it has basically no landing lol

Hey dude, what's your feel on front brake? For me (stock lines) it does not "bite" at all. I mean, it brakes...but it feels way too linear.
@S2_Fresh Жыл бұрын
tbh, Im not a big fan of the brakes on this bike. I have upgraded lines, brembo master off a different bike, and aggressive pads and the feel is still vague. It stops decently. Maybe it's the calipers, but I just find the modulation and initial bite to be inconsistent.

Well first thing... and easyest... check for clanging and rattling screws and bits and bobs, secondly... valve clearances... could be a little too loose in there... thirdly...and I hope it ain't that... cam chain... if it's just the tensioner all's good...if it's the chain... you're propper fucked, you have to dissassemble almost the entire engine...
@mattiabogarelli Жыл бұрын
hi, I also bought the rizoma fuel cap for my gsxs 1000, does the fuel cap stay slightly up for you too? this allows the water to enter (not inside the tank)... the water that enters is then expelled from the drain pipe... is this normal? does this happen to you too? thanks

I’m curious if you’ve seen anyone riding a supermoto DR650S. I used to ride a DR-Z400SM on the street and always wondered if a converted DR650 would’ve been more fun with the tractor-like torque.
