pretty amazing how effortlessly you shave around the chin. I am pretty new with my DE Razor and after a couple of month a still cant get my shave around there to be reliably bloodless if I go against the grain in that area which I really dont want to miss because it makes the skin so wonderfully smooth. Still trying out different blade types though.

Greta shave there Sir! Thank youbvery much for the review of the Roseline soap. The scent profile is a mix of Rose and Geranium. The scent on this soap is a tribute to a Williams shave soap stick that was manufactured here in South Africa. It was much loved and we tried to match it as close as possible. The South African Williams soap has now been discontinued. As tou rightly stated the formulation of the Roseline soap is different to the Lemon cream. All credit to the soap maker :) The scent of this soap is based on a very famous South African sandwich cookie called Lemon Cream. :) Besides the scent, our main aim with this soap was to make a soap that would be fast and easy to lather.

Nice Shave, and I liked the Bay Yum at the start :) Bay Rum is always a good fragrance with various different versions!

Thanks for the video - I am trying a Parker SRB this week - I read yesterday that some will take a pair of scissors and clip the corners of the blade just a tad so they don't bite as easy - I think I'll try that because it seems a lot of folks nick themselves at the edges.

Very well done! I've never tried a Russian Gillette blade (7 o' Clock Super Stainless included) I didn't like. And I also have nice memories of the Chevy Chevettes. As for shavettes, I just bought one a few days ago, and for my first try I made the mistake of thinking I should use a less sharp blade than I usually do in my safety razors. So it kept getting caught and pulling at the hairs instead of effortlessly mowing through them like you did here. Next time I'll use a Gillette Silver Blue as that's what I'm used to in my other razors.

I too own a Variant and don't think I'll be trying that setting anytime soon. That said, watching you slow down and shave using short strokes, good angles and occasionally pulling your skin to provide flatter surface areas was impressive. I learned a few things watching that shave. Thx!
