@@OpiumPulses I wanted to hold onto the keys as they don't expire, I was told they couldn't return if it's been open and from me trying to open the plastic fold it was really hard to so idk

@@bbydxll260 We ended up returning ours, even after opening. Although we bought from Amazon and they have a very relaxed return policy, we weren't happy with the quality, so it went back to them, no questions asked. We didn't use the keys, but of course they don't know that, so it's pretty generous of them.

That's great, everyone has expectations for the quality of a product for the price they pay and if it's worth the cost for you, that's only a good thing :)

@OpiumPulses if it was even 10 dollars more I'd probably start saying different but the fact most new shit games are 70 and for 60 you get some great games and collectibles. Crazy deal for anyone who wants to play fallout first time from the show.

Inaccurate, the only game here that requires a constant internet connection after downloading is Fallout 76 as it is an online only game. The rest are all playable offline after the initial download.

This probably cost them less than 5-10 bucks to produce in its entirety, it's cheap tat that doesn't even come with the physical games. That's worth pointing out to other potential customers who might be expecting something besides a hollow plastic container. Not only that, it's exactly the same thing they released 9 years ago but without the discs! Your opinion is exactly why physical editions have less and less love poured into them these days.

@@OlafPawbelt that's like saying oh you think that car sucks? the car that gets you places? Just describing what something is doesn't invalidate an opinion. I was trying not to share too much to avoid spoilers, but the whole "my family was kidnapped I must go find them against all realistically survivable odds" is SO overdone, both in games and all other media. I pointed out both positives and negatives, as did the video, you can enjoy something and still point out its flaws, otherwise you may as well just be a hater or a fanboy - I wonder which one you are?

Whatever anger you think you're seeing, it doesn't exist. I just prefer to discuss opinions with people who see both sides of the story and don't just blindly defend obvious flaws just because they like something. Not everything is 100% good or 100% bad, that's the takeaway here.

We always prefer physical media when it comes to buying a special physical edition like this. Since we already own all the Fallout games on both Steam and GOG, new keys aren't really much use besides using them in giveaways or something. Once they're used, this is just a cheap plastic nuke and nothing more. When games get delisted (and Fallout games have in the past), physical disks should exist to give us alternate methods to install them when 30 years from now they're either delisted, updated beyond recognition or no longer work on newer operating systems. Most won't be playing these games that far into the future, but we at OP prefer older game design and generally feel anything beyond around 2015 focuses on monetisation as a priority with decent gameplay and user experience as a nice to have bonuses. Keys are great, but they don't trump physical media in every way.
