Hi, I thinkI need this doing on my car, is there a free online bluetooth app that you know of that could reset the egr values? I had a new egr installed 6 months ago and now the garage has closed so have no back up for it and don't want to fork out even more money if there is a cheap fix. Thanks.

So I did everything exactly, and the engine starts and works perfectly but I have no power. Check't everything from turbo, vacuum valeve, vacuum lines. Everything, absolutely everything is fine. Yet I have no power when accelerating it's as if I don't have a turbo on 😢

What if the injectors have been reconditioned? Im putting a set back in but the part that meets the adjustment screw is sitting very proud to the injector spring, is this normal?

There is no to remove the diesel filter just remove the wipers and plastic panels and there is no need get it plugged in the engine light will go off after a good long drive ❤

Great video, thanks. One passenger side window regulator replaced at minimal expense. Take your time and a little bit of patience. I purchased the kit without the panel (just rails and wires), drilled out the existing rivets and bolted the new one into the current panel, a little bit of patience and not outside basic DIY skills.

1) It helps to have a stash of new plastic door panel clips. 2) You do not need to remove the door lock and latch mechanisms if you instead just press out the two plastic rivets that hold the latch assembly to the inner panel. The plastic piece that attaches the inner panel to the latch mechanism is unnecessary, probably used in original factory assembly.

In the 1.9 tdi asz engine, there is lubrication in the slot of the crankshaft sensor. When I enter it with a thin hose to get the accumulated oil from this slot, it pulls from the oil pan. What could be the reason.

Hy.i got same model of car...last year on december my car heating works great..i was on christmas in holliday in another country,when i comeback the heating dont work like before...and after couple of days just start working,no more warn air gived...in dashboard showed me to add more coolant..i put more but heating still dont come...someone said to i reflush the sistem and refill with coolant and that will be fixed and heating will run..i dont know big thing about mechanics..but what you think can be?before used to work perfectly the heating,in the morning at 5 oclock,when was -2 grace outside,in 3-4 minute was warm in the car..all stop after i comeback from holliday....please help me if you know an advice

Not 100% sure, but might be from this: Radiator Heating Cabin clogged / Clogged heater core. Clogged heater core is one of the leading causes of heating not working in Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The design of the heater core is similar to the radiator, it has narrow internal channels through which hot coolant flows. Over time, the heater core can begin to rust or mineral deposits can form in these channels, blocking the flow of the coolant. You don’t have to remove the heater core in your A-Class to check if it is clogged. Locate two rubber hoses that connect to the heater core through the firewall area. Feel both the rubber lines going in and out of the heater core after the engine has warmed up. Both should be hot. If one is hot and the other is cold, you have a plugged heater core. Before you consider replacing the heater core in your A-Class, it is recommended to flush the existing heater core. Flushing is done by pushing water through the outlet hose of the heater core and draining the gunk from the inlet hose. There are flush kits available in the market that can help you do the job yourself. Other possible problems: Low coolant or air in the cooling system, bad thermostat, bad water pump, dirty cabin air filter and a few more. Hope that this will help you!

@@BuddyMechanics i just comeback from one mehcanic,i told him to fix the heating and to flush the coolant and put new coolant...he dont understand when i said i want heating to be fixed,he regased my air cond and flush the sistem and put new coolant...i dont tell him nothing about regas on this cold weather...i paid 140£ for something what i dont said to be fixed.omg :(((

Also check this. There is a drain hole below the cabin filter. If it blocks then water enters the heater air input and can short out the ballast resistor and fill the battery compartment with water. Eventually the battery will short also. I used a trombone brush/snake to clear the drain pipe after removing the filter.

Thank you for the advice. This is what happened with my air blower and I did not understand from where the battery compartment was full with water and also why the air blower could work only on the 5th position. And the ballast resistor diode was short out... "To clear the drain pipe after removing the filter" - you mean the drain pipe of air filter that it is in the motor compartment close to the windshield?

hi i have a 2009 ford fiesta 1.6 tdci,i was driving it last week with no problems,then out of the blue a cog light came on which i have been told is the pcm light,the car died and wouldnt start for around 5 mins,eventually got it running and got it home,a friend plugged it in and a p0698 code came up,he said it was throttle pedal,so replaced that also put a new fuel filter after a day or 2 same thing happend,it wouldnt start so i put a forscan on it turned the pcm light off and it started,after 2 hours cut out again so i unplugged egr and it run fine for 2 days then the light came on again even with the egr unplugged,it has no problem starting but once that pcm light comes on the car will not start until i plug forscan into it and clear the p0698 code,is there anyone out there who can help it says sensor reference voltage c circuit low additional fault symptom circuit voltage below threshold......thanks in advance,jon

For p0698 sensor reference voltage circuit low I will suspect a faulty EGR valve (shorted internally). This is most commonly caused by moisture ingress into the electronics internal of the EGR valve. If you disconnect the EGR valve electrical plug the car should start.

@@BuddyMechanics no car wont start even with egr unplugged now when i try to clear the p0698 code it wont delete powertrain light keeps coming back on and giving me the p0698 code,in the test menu built into the car i have an error code there p0125 but it doesnt come up when i scan it with forscan,and there is no way of trying to delete the p0125 code,its driving me nuts
