I appreciate learning what some of the tests I have had signify, but it would have easier to follow the presentation if Dr Rosenweig had advanced the slides when he should have. I became more used to his accent as the presentation went on.

Dr. Portnoy: Thank youfor shearing such a great material. A had the oppoutunity to attend this talk from Dr. Fleisher before in a Congress of PID in Mexico a year ago. Obviously, knowledge about genetic defects has grown up faster and faster.

I have Multiple Drug Intolerance Syndrome. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder with psychotic features from misdiagnoses. I was having reactions to meds. Please study those who have had false diagnoses due to medications. I still don't have a diagnosis, but I have 30+ medications I had a severe to midrange reaction to- and it started with psych symptoms and memory loss- and ended up with things like blood sugar crashes, erythema nodosum, pure allergies, etc. My oldest son has had two reactions to antibiotics.

Well done, watching my hives inflammation fade day after day until they completely vanished was such a relief, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 10 days or so the urticaria/angioedema was barely visible! I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and after 20 days my skin has never been healthier!

As a chronic urticaria and angioedema for 35 plus years. I've been through the meds game and tried everything. Several years sulfasazine helped. Been on massive amounts of antihistamines, cyclosporine which stopped the hives but caused the lining on my intestines to become completely smooth and I became dehydrated and malnourishment. Prednisone at least 50 times, short and long term. Caused complete disability and even given meds like tranquilizers and numerous Drs saying it was stress induced. Finally diagnosed with alpha gal syndrome and approved for Xolair injections which worked immediately. I only get them every 8 weeks and will be waiting 10 weeks this time. I no longer take any antihistamines and eat and drink whatever I want.

I have to be careful with make up, the liquid base gave me stingy, painful red blotches. I am much better with the waterbase. I just used the ordinary foundation that is mix with water. But I will never buy the liquid one. It stings and feels like acid. My skin went red and raise. Some garment can also be very uncomfortable, cotton feels better.

I suffer from Relapsing Polychondritis with renal involvement in the form of mesangial nephropathy, an immune-mediated inflammatory disease, I developed the disease at the age of 13 in the distant 2002 during the application of allergen-specific immunotherapy. Because allergen-specific immunotherapy causes changes in the immune system, it is possible that it may influence the induction of diseases mediated by the immune system, such as autoimmune diseases, even some doctors point to the induction of autoimmunity as one of the possible long-term consequences of allergen-specific immunotherapy. Increased levels of IL-10, TNF, and TGF-B, as well as changes in Treg cells and the Th2/Th1 balance, are the mechanisms that can cause autoimmune problems in people undergoing allergen immunotherapy. -specific. Relapsing polychondritis is a Th1 and IL-10 mediated condition, while mesangial nephropathy is mediated by TGF-B. In the medical literature there are many cases published over several years such as that of Dr. Ghorschi et al, “Manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis during specific subcutaneous immunotherapy of allergens”, “Scleroderma related to specific immunotherapy. Clinical Case Maciel BM, Morphine BM.” "Turkcapar N, M. Sjogren's syndrome induced by specific immunotherapy.", Pemphigoid-type reaction due to specific immunotherapy with allergen: an unusual adverse reaction Margarita Tomás-Pérez, Autoimmune thyroiditis detected during allergen-specific immunotherapy: Ahmet TÜRKELİ a case report. Among others. The MDs, PhDs. Allan Linneberg and Andrzej Bozek carried out investigations where the cases of autoimmune disease that have appeared during or after the application of Specific Immunotherapy are indicated. Many of these cases have not been published, and as Dr. Linneberg mentions, it is a sensitive issue that requires significant action. In the main guidelines for the use of specific immunotherapy, such as the EAACI , the DGAKI and the forums of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology AAAAI, this sensitive topic is mentioned. My disease, other people's cases, and research acknowledge the great ignorance of allergists that prevails in this area and call for a strong precautionary principle in relation to autoimmune diseases and allergen-specific immunotherapy. I was negligently treated by an Allergist member of the National Council of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (CONICA) and COMPEDIA in Guadalajara, my case was not published in the literature. And that is why it is extremely important to evaluate people in terms of autoimmunity risk before starting SIT, my situation (along with that of other people) must not be repeated. My body and my health were destroyed by Allergen Specific Immunotherapy and a negligent Allergist.

You skipped over when to use Mod 59. My question is when an OV is billed with mod 25 then a spirometry is done then allergy skin pricks testing is done. Is the allergy test supposed to get mod 59 since it is a separate test than spirometry

I thought the B cells express CXCR5 receptors which are attracted to CXCL13 whilst T cells express CCR7 which are attracted to CCL19/ 21. Is this the interaction required for the B/ T cells to go into the 2° lymphoid organs? Also are the B/ T cells naive before thos interaction?
