Dark coaster definitely where tomb raider is reuse that building is huge and could go in multiple times.loose stun coaster and use that and vortex plot for a record breaking looper with tunnels and awesome light package.loose invertigo Congo falls and timberwolf and redo action zone with a front entrance coaster

Everything rmc has touched has been amazing. (Steel vengeance, Iron gwazi, and Air Force one is crazy) imagine if rmc revamp the beast it would be the best coaster in the world nobody would even care about falcons flight

Nice prediction video! I like the Beast 2.0 idea the best and then the Infinity Coaster next, the Beast 2.0 would add to the skyline of the park and would look amazing, an Infinity Coaster would like nice too there, but I doubt it would add to the skyline as much as a Beast 2.0 would. There was another survey that KI sent out 2 weeks ago nobody has talked about, which is hard to believe, but it was about another expansion to Soak City in the next 2-3 years, so I can see them heading back there by 2027 or 2028. If we see next year on opening day the Vortex plot is being worked on, then we will get something new in 2026, but I am thinking it's coming in 2027, we'll see. Subscribed.

@@TheJaredExpress Yeah, I took some pictures of it on my cell phone of my computer screen, should have taken a screen shot but didn't think about it till later, the survey was on August 21st. Do you have an Instagram account to see the pictures or another way? You can sign up for surveys and newsletters on the park's website, if you're a passholder I think they will send you a survey. The surveys only are up for a few days, 2 or 3 at the most so you have to be checking your emails almost daily to not miss a chance to take part in it. Hope so as well.

I believe KI is 2026 for a couple reasons. 1) KI seems to be following the Canada's Wonderland pattern of recent which is: kiddie coaster, waterpark addition, and large coaster. 2) 2026 being Vortex's replacement would line up with recent coaster additions that replaced a last minute removal (ie Stinger closed in 2017 + 7 years = Iron Menace 2024 and Volcano closed in 2018 + 7 years = Rapterra 2025.) See the pattern? Also in the KI A Ride Through Time Novel, Mike Koontz said he wanted to focus on Snoopy and Soak City before touching the Vortex area which 2024 was Snoopy and 2025 is Soak City so that only means one thing unless something changes last minute: Vortex 2026. Also I got the Soak City survey a couple weeks ago as well even though I don't go to Soak City, but I still filled it out and I made multiple requests for an adult only area with a swim up bar.

@@bigblueamusementproductions It has a big chance of happening yeah, but nothing is set in stone yet, till it’s announced. Mike Koontz said that but then they announced the Adventure Port addition which wasn’t planned and was a last minute decision, they could go back to Soak City in 2026, since they gave a 2 or 3 year timeframe, we’ll see what happens. I asked them to add a RallyRACER slide to the water park like what Hersheypark’s water park has, that would be a great addition.

If RMC touched The Beast the park would be paying millions for nothing… and what all to add a few inversions and making the ride way shorter? If kings island was smart they would hire RMC and make Son of Beast 2.0 and call it a day…. Would draw in old fans, new fans, and upcoming coaster fans! Other than that the park is fine don’t touch a thing other than eventually removing Invertigo!

I don't know why, but I've got this feeling that after the Cedar Fair/Six Flags merger that the Six Flags parks are going to be getting the lion's share of the money for major coasters. Cedar Fair parks are going to get things like the water coaster, or smaller rides. Hope I'm wrong.

I think that they may focus on the legacy Six Flags parks for a little to get them up to the same standard as the legacy Cedarfair ones, but I don’t think in any way that they will be neglected, and eventually they will get back to focusing on parks from both chains

@@heathconely3573 I’ve definitely heard the rumors. That’d be neat, it really depends on if Six Flags decides to work with RMC again. If they were to make one in Action Zone, then it’d either have to be half in between Banshee and Bat and half taking up Timberwolf or it would have to be a front gate coaster.

Wouldn't it be cool if RMC rebuilt Son Of Beast? Make it a dive coaster coming out of the old Son Of Beast station. Have the first dive go up and over the space between Banshee and The Bat.

Kings Island needs one or two types of coasters....or everlasting both. One is a huge tilt coaster in the Vortex plot. Get rid of invertigo and that water ride and find s way to use the son if beast station to build a launch coaster. Either use Mach or Vacoma to build a spinner or a blitz coaster that would fly over action zone or get B&M to do a surg coaster and call it the revenge of the King Cobra..

@@Suntan330 KI has the ability to build 2 massive coasters with its layout and some finagling. Yes, I 100% agree with an entrance coaster in the plot of land with Invertigo, the amphitheater, Congo Falls, and you could include a massive land plot that tears all of those down and build a massive whatever…RMC, Gerstlaurer Infinity coaster. You have so many choices and that is what makes us all get giddy and start talking about what they can do. However, it’s about what they “will do, as opposed to what they can do.”

Honestly, I'm just sick and tired of Canada's Wonderland getting so much attention. KI is like the redheaded step child. Even Carowinds( which I know their headquarters is close by) gets alot of money thrown at it.

I don't like the idea of altering The Beast in any way outside of just modifying the pre-existing ride to keep the rattle a bit more under control. This is the first I'm hearing that folks want The Beast to be RMC'd. I don't get why folks would unironically want a huge change like that to a major piece of the park's history. I've definitely noticed that retracking on both Beast and Racer have improved them over time. That, and adding onto it with Vortex's plot sounds like the roller coaster equivalent of New Coke. Even if it does end up being better, there's gonna be a lot of debate over if there should have been done to begin with. I also agree that while Boo Blasters has been in need of a replacement, it'd be horrendous to do that with mostly screens, even if it did make another good use of the Peanuts theming that we've seen with Camp Snoopy this year. I wasn't as bothered with it for Mystic Timbers because I never expect any effects like that for a coaster at KI. Either way, I would imagine that like Phantom Theater and Scooby-Doo, it would be preferably to just repurpose the pre-existing track. I personally love that the nearby character meeting area is indoors not only for better lighting for pics, but also to allow the actors to not overheat in those costumes. Personally, the main things I'd like are either a wing coaster after the experience I had on Gatekeeper, or a traditional looping coaster that fills in the Vortex-shaped hole in my heart. But I need something in Vortex's plot of land that is just as photogenic as it was to walk past while heading between Coney Mall and Rivertown.

I personally wouldn’t want to see a wing coaster at KI. Cedar Point already has Gatekeeper and Holiday World has the best wing coaster IMO with Thunderbird. You’re right, whatever goes into Vortex’s plot of land has to be photogenic. That’s why I think the Gerstlaurer Infinity coaster works here. Not only can you build a coaster with tight loops and inversions, you can give it the lighting package like Hangtime. Tell me that wouldn’t look absolutely stunning right there at the end of Coney Mall. I mean there are already flat rides in that area along with all the games and stuff, and also Windseeker. All of which are lit up beautifully at night!

Yeah, if Kings Island did get a Wing coaster, it would have to find a way to stick out. Maybe if they were able to alter the wing coaster’s trains to spin similar to X2 then it would stand a chance, but needless to say it would have some competition

There is still plenty of land at Canada's Wonderland to build a coaster without removing one such as: -Kingswood Music Theatre's plot of land -the forest surrounding White Water Canyon -Speed City Raceway's plot of land & the former plot of land for Dinosaurs Alive.

In an interview with the Canadas wonderland marketing supervisor or something she said they took liberties with the announcement ad and that the animation is what we should reference (about the color). It’s not necessarily confirmed I guess but i think it’s just going to be white..

I think the person who purchased Marineland will sell and dismantle parts of it systematically to make room for housing developments and condo complexes. Its 1000 acres of prime real estate and already has some infrastructure they can utilize. Bye-bye Marineland. 😢

Whatever the property's designated uses are under the Niagara Zoning By-law, the new owner can make a re-zoning application to change the permitted use(s), and property zone. If there is no solid reason that the application not be granted, then the Niagara Council is obliged to grant the application, or the owner would simply appeal their decision to the Ontario Municipal Board and obtain it anyway. The City of Niagara may prefer to have a subdivision(s) rather than single tourist attraction. Each private property in a subdivision would each pay property taxes, whereas currently only Marineland pays one property tax. Each property in a subdivision will be assessed by the Ontario Municipal Board, and the City of Niagara will tax each property based on an annual tax rate. So, for Niagara, development housing could be a bit of a boon, and help them meet any housing ratios set by the Provincial or Federal Governments, and raise enough taxes to support Niagara infrastructure and services requirements. It doesn't even mean that the 1000 acre property might not have hotels, or other tourism or commercial attractions, or even multi-use dwellings. Considering the loss of Marineland's entertainment value, exhibited by it's financial failure that has been steadily declining it for years, and add the demise of Crystal Beach Park close to nearby Fort Erie in 1989, nothing lasts forever. The Crystal Beach amusement park site is now housing. I have no doubt that Marineland would not likewise be a similar developer investment.

I have many things to say #1 the park has confirmed no comfort collars on the ride #2 The fire effect is confirmed to be on the ride. #3 the park seems to be moving forward with a family wooden coaster in the white water canyon area #4 there is barley any terrain at wonderland, there is a small Forrest near white water canyon but that is basically it so i don’t see it even being possible for a terrain coaster honestly

It's absolutely insane that Marineland has sat on one of, if not the most valuable plot of land a theme park could possibly exist on for over 60 years and in that time all they've been able to do is throw together an awkward liminal space that doesn't even take up a quarter of the property while repeatedly fighting a constant uphill battle to hold on to aquatic animals that the general public lost interest in seeing almost 30 years ago. If nothing is done by the new owners than Marineland will go down in history as the most baffling waste of potential in the theme park industry, and at the moment it already is.

Everyone loves Marineland! ...but seriously, as someone who lived in Niagara Falls for several years...Marineland is kind of out of the way and not in the tourism area. There are far more popular things on or near Clifton Hill, like the Table Rock center operated by the Niagara Parks Commission (they do a lot).

The dolphins and animals enclosed areas are large enough for them to swim, walk, run and enjoy the easy life. Marineland provides everything they need, food, water, shelter and love. In return don't you think the mammals and animals should provide something back in return like entertain us and the pleasure and joy for us to see them. There is nothing wrong with that. Humans always entertain because they get something back in return but animals and mammals shouldn't?, thats BS. The hard life for them is if they were in the wild hunting for their own food or be hunted and killed by other mammals or animals, or shot by hunters. If Marineland needs to correct some things if necessary, they should have the right and not close down. As for the animals who have died there, endless animals and people die all the time, it is not their fault.

The areas are NOT large enough, especially for the number of belugas in their park. They have also been in trouble before for not maintaining clean water conditions for their marine animals and got in trouble for how they kept their bears. So no they do not provide proper housing or food for these animals (they would not feed the bears enough so they were always hungry and would eat the marshmallows and stuff people would buy to feed them). Also why should animals perform for us? We put them in these conditions against their will, they have no need to be forced to perform for our amusement. Simply observing their natural behaviors is more than enough instead of forcing them to learn tricks.

@@SohiHien Not true sorry, from what I see the outdoor live in areas with fresh air and sunshine are more than large enough to live in. Human beings live in much smaller areas like their homes and rooms and many in micro apartments laying on bed all day. Although yes I agree that the water must always be kept clean for dolphins and other mammals to live in.

@@domr3978 Very true. There is plenty of research on how cetaceans do poorly in captivity. It is even illegal now in Canada to have them in captivity and MarineLand has already gotten in trouble from their poor care of their belugas. You can't compare different animals to their care needs. What is fine for a human is not fine for another animal. Also humans do poorly in small homes or not leaving their homes. The pandemic showed us that, so many people struggled mentally with being stuck in their homes, proof that living all the time in a small space is "not fine". Humans in small homes also have the choice to leave that home, the walk outside, have a job not in their home etc etc. They do not spend 24/7 of their entire lives in a small space like these poor belugas do. NO human does and the ones that spend all their time in a small place are not well mentally. So these poor belugas aren't either. They also share that small space with a dozen others, it is disgustingly small for the amount of belugas they have. They are packed in there like sardines.

Large areas of this park will be replaced with housing, no question. The value of the land is the housing development potential. It would be surprising if the park stays open.

@@FifaClips17 It could certainly be on the horizon! They seem to be taking turns on which parks are getting the treatment. They just finished Kings Island’s and they’re almost done with Knotts’. Recent leaks indicate Carowinds is getting one next year and it would make all the sense in the world to expand Cedar Points so they can expand Boardwalk into Kiddy Kingdom. Canadas Wonderland appears to be getting a large roller coaster next year, but 2026 is likely!

the best bet would be to turn this park into an animal sanctuary as they have to keep these animals until they die, there is plenty of room for this. You can't have an amusement park with animals, the constant music and noise of screaming ect is not good for the animals and stresses them out, having said this the belugas are social creatures so people visiting them would help stimulate them as well as make revenue because these animals require specialized care and eat +++ daily, not to mention year round caregivers.
