Figure up your hourly rate. The best way to do this is overhead/expenses + pay/profit. Figure out how long the job will take you. For example, you get lead for a 45 minute mowing job. Assuming you have a $60 hourly rate, you would multiply 45 mins(0.75) by $60 getting you $45.

Hello. My minimum for my lawn mowing service is $40. With that being said, a normal yard is around the that much. For a bigger yard it will go up. Personally I prefer not to charge as much of off square footage equations. I prefer to use hourly rate. I charge around $60 per hour. Of course you can’t always get the budgeted hours correct. To answer your second question I just have always been down with the reinvest concept. Also, my father helped by getting me a loan with Sheffield. I pay everything on it and the monthly payment. I most definitely recommend doing this if you have the money to make the payments and it will really grow you’re business as it did mine. For your third question I love my echo pb580T blowers. It’s been my favorite since I bought it. It works great when blowing grass off a sidewalk and such. Even though I love using it, I plan on buying an echo PB9010T. This will help with blowing off leaves with the added power. If you’re doing lots leaves, as I am, I recommend spending the extra money to get the extra power. For your fourth question I have around twenty clients. I could have more but I have to decline clients sometimes. The reason being I don’t have much time to maintain all the work during the school year. To answer your fifth question I have considered it many times. As of right now I plan on waiting a year or two. The reason being is in my state you have to get a chemical permit. To do that one must be 18 and currently I’m not. I did film trimming first. When mowing a yard solo I always trim first so the clippings from it get mulched up with the mower. I put the trimming after the mowing in videos because it helps audience retention. It seems like more people enjoy watching mowing so I put it first. Thanks for always commenting.
