In hindsight, it's crazy to say you've actually seen Goku grow up semi-real time. From DB all the way to Super/GT. It's surprisingly so rare to see main characters actually start out as a kid and follow them into adulthood. Usually they just magically stay the same age the entire series. Never could I have imagined when watching Goku in DB that he'd be turning into a blonde super warrior and blasting out universe destroying energy beams. The only other shonen I could think of this is Naruto and that's only 2 years until the end.

Hey buddy thanks for making this i first came up to this video when it was covid and i was scared of being alive and how life would go on last year i had some major school exams and it was incredibly stressful hurdle to pass through and this song helped me then and today this year im also in a bad situation with being diagnosed with something bad and seeing with medication and help me through it Plus school is being mean as heck as always but im trying really hard bcs i want to make somethijg out of my life i feel really lonely and worthless and dont wanna vent to anyone tbh and life seems like everything bad js seems happening but ill keep trying yk. Thanks for this ik it is silly to get motivated from watching an amv but it simply reminds me that i got out of tough times and that maybe like Gohan ill end up having a good life as well❤

The last part of Dragonabll my dad ever watched was the the cell saga, which ended with Goku’s death. I showed him this soon after and it really got him. This is just brilliantly done. The finality of that saga is why I think the cell saga has the best ending for the series ovwrall.

My dad watched Dragonball up until the end of the Cell saga, so for all he knew, Goku was gone for good. I showed him this video sometime after and it actually hit him really hard.
