I did the Loop in the early summer of 2024. You're correct about the Tenn side being rougher. One section had my 2006 4WD4Runner tipped way over to one side. If i did it again I'd take a different run. A 2WD could do the Loop but that one area. It was a great trip for me and Rosie the dog.

All of the more challenging areas had easier lines or bypasses for those that needed or wanted them. Thanks for watching!

@ashleywatts623515 күн бұрын
As someone who camps and rides here multiple times per year, that camper did not go down any trails to get to the lake. When you enter by the gatehouse, you drive down a gravel road all the way to the lake. We have a 43' fifth wheel toy hauler that we pull with a semi, and it is a pretty wide road back there. The way this guy edited his video made it appear that you have to take trails to the beach area, but you don't.

Great JBOH videos, you plan on doing any more? Nice to see lifted everyday drivers (2-3 inch on 35's) over some of the extreme builds that post.
@GettingFreshAir8 ай бұрын
Work has been keeping us busy this year (KZbin is not our full time gig like many of the other big channels), but we are in the planning stage for a two week summer trip with plans to hit a few more JBOH trails. I also agree with you about the extreme builds. It’s kind of like cheating. There’s a Trail Rated emblem on the side of a Jeep for a reason. The vehicle is fully capable with the right driving skills. If you want to rock crawl something extreme then get a buggy. I always have to chuckle at those that trailer the Jeeps to the trail because 1) they have modified it so much it gets terrible gas mileage and is not efficient for street use anymore, and/or 2) they are really terrible drivers (but have a “cool” Jeep) and plan/expect to break something on the trail. Anyway, off my soapbox. Thanks for checking out our videos!
