Theirs no way to add a pic in the comments??? I have a pic of it in the easy rider magazine in 2018 I was gonna share with you.. I remembered the bike I had the mag when I was in the joint I got out that year didn’t think a few years down the road I’d run across and own it my self lol

kickstart gear shredded on my '62 sporter, didnt get it fixed first time through, club run in meantime, brought a rope...tied around my dragbars to bump start me...1973

Aww shit burn up your rings had to do a quick top end rebuild and back on the road huh?? My coil melted down when this happend pulled me to the shop shaped on new coil and off

Done that. 70 mph down the freeway with a blown engine. Rebuilt the next day and down the road.
