Don’t beat yourself up. You weren’t taught how to do these things. In time you will forgive the past.

I haven't drank any alcohol or used any drugs in over 4 months. I really hope that this program helps me. I am under so much stress I really want to get shitfaced. I specialize ordered some 6packs from the convenience store last week. I still haven't picked them up. Being an alcoholic sucks.

When I got here a woman told me I needed to pray for sobriety. I wasn’t religious, but I wanted what she and the others had, so I did. I have been sober ever since 7/1/98. Trust God, clean house, and help others. It works.

Toss the alcohol. It’s not worth having around the house. Go to meetings. Get a sponsor and get connected. Life gets so much better

As long as I don't drink or use 24 hours at a time, everything changes except my sobriety date. Hold On Pain Ends

I thought I was hearing myself. Proof that despite how we are raised this illness exists in us, adding that I’m a mad dog, alcohol is far more destructive and harmful than most chemicals and it’s legal. Without opinion, people would be less harmful to each other on junk. We do recover, but families have generations of harm. Bless Al Anons and the freedom of recovery from this horrific illness. Bless
