Bmw has better graphics, an interesting story and great bosses (boss design) (better than sekiro imo). But gameplay wise sekiro will always be at the top

Sekiro is pinnacle of combat. I have platinum in both games but I never ever touched BM:W after completing it where as I keep playing sekiro here and there. The thing is that these both games have reactive combat where you react to what your opponent is doing However, in BM:W you only have the dodge option and a heavy if it counts as a reaction to what your enemy is doing. Yeah, there can be timings and strategies in BM:W but on the flip side Sekiro is totally reactive. The focus is consistently on the enemy and not on what spells you have and how charged they are. Sekiro feels more refined, polished and above all "simple". I have played various games in the genera but nothing even comes close.

Black myth is a great game, but there's no way it's better than Sekiro overall. Maybe Better in Graphics but that's where it ends

Both are mount rushmore worthy for different reasons. Rdr2, totk/botw, ER, and others I don't have time to type of the greatest games of all time. Zelda franchise those is the highest imo with almost every game being at least 9/10

Im playing through elden ring right now(17 hours?) and it feels like a double a quality game with a Triple A marketing budget. Im going with TOTK. Plus bows are straight garbage inElden ring(clunky and just bad) Elden ring is good but thats about it imo(not done playing it either but thats my thoughts)

They could have made capes a thing. Like part of the armour set for buffs of agility, strength, rage ,etc. The black bear armour looks so cool and it would have been better if we had it longer. But Ragnarok is way better in overall terms of combat though. Much mobile, agile ; really makes you feel it when you go back to 2018. Many complain about the effects reduction but large no of visual effects hindered my vision during some intense fights in 2018. This time they are more transparent too.

Gow Ragnarok is much better and it’s not even debatable. It’s objectively the better game in general

Im very interested to see the mods that will come with Ragnarok over time, I wonder how much can be imported directly over. They cut out a-lot but this game performs so well.

The only thing that i noticed that was a downgrade was the fact that they removed like 4 bare handed attacks for no reason.

Gowr took a step back on appealing visuals to make the combat faster which I’m totally fine with. I prefer the speed over the visual aspect of the combat and gameplay. Gowr is still objectively the better game but both can’t exist without the other

God of war 2018 seems better than Gow Ragnarok

To be fair, GOW 2018 was already in development around 2014-2015 while Ragnarok started before/during the pandemic

The attention to detail of the zombies in dead island 2 is where all the budget went to... no offense but still seems way more lackluster combat wise than dying light 2.. all of LA and I swear it seems like there's only 10 zombies where ever u are in the map
