It's impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. Global warming was officially stated at 1.1°C in 1991 and 1.06°C in 2022. There is no mechanism that would allow greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. The back of the United Nation's IPCC science report states it took its greenhouse gas samples at 20,000 meters altitude where it is common high school level knowledge there is no greenhouse radiant energy. This is typical practice for deceptive marketing to state legal data transparency protecting the perpetrators from fraud prosecution. Earth's greenhouse effect is frequently used as a primary example to high school students of a system always in saturation from the strong greenhouse gas water vapor absorbing all the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth with greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the surface that is all around us everyday and can't have its overall effect changed. There is no further greenhouse radiant energy to interact with greenhouse gases. At 1% average tropospheric water vapor over 99% of earth’s greenhouse effect is from water vapor. Water vapor would hold earth's greenhouse effect in saturation if it were the only greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. Arctic warming is taking place with the proving mechanism being warm Atlantic Ocean waters migrating deeper and more frequently into the Arctic Ocean warming it and the region. That warmer water is causing a few weeks less of reflective snow and ice coverage resulting in more solar heat gain to the Arctic region surface. Atmospheric CO2 levels of 1200 ppm about three times what they are today would greatly invigorate C3 plants the majority of plant life on earth greatly greening the planet. 0.4% of the atmosphere is CO2 and on average 1% is H20 water vapor. (1% H20)/(0.4% CO2) = 25. Water vapor is 25 times more present in the atmosphere on average than CO2. Water vapor has an CO2e of 18, 18 X 25 = 450 CO2e total for water vapor to 1 CO2e for CO2. The Earth’s oceans have 3-1/2 million sea floor volcanic vents warming the water and changing it’s chemistry that have not been systematically accounted for.

It is potentially possible to make a high fire kiln out of Styrofoam cooled by water though might need structurally reinforced. Like that could float on hot lava. Or, to melt a thread system together from the wide diameter cylinder section of a plastic bottle. With aluminum foil in between layers and around a preformed stud so the plastic doesn't stick and can be unscrewed. Further, reuse of our most stable and sanitary material can save heatwork. If not for society in general maybe for the Bush people for starters. greyishgreblum, "Pottery tap and die"💜

Recycling waste (as I do) has little connection with co2. She should learn how to pronounce amines. What happens to the separated co2? How are the amines manufactured? Carbon dioxide is the gas of life. Remove it all from the atmosphere and everything (including you) does eventually.

CO2 even at 800ppm wouldn't change global temp higher than 1% by it's low significance as GHG, it's around 400ppm sth now, plus it's plant fertilizer and not a pollutant. It's even essential to us to regulate our respiratory system. Water vapour/ clouds are the most potent GHG. Nevertheless, this is interesting tech. However there are actual pollutants in our emissions, most sulfur or nitrogen based compounds causing smog and acid rain. I wish the world could've risen beyond this consensus to actually investigate what really causes oceanic acidity (as carbonic acid is too mild slow acid), sea level and global mean temp to rise. The factual science behind global warming is being Misled. Yes that's what you get for being in my recommendations. Cheers

Once the CO2 is concentrated how is it sequestered? If used in carbonated beverages, what CO2 suppler is this displacing? How is this reducing net global CO2 annual emissions?

@@placeholdername0000 Yes, this could be what happens but does it? The point of my question is how does this help address climate change? The video only talks about an establish process for capturing CO2 from exhaust gases. It does not explain how the captured CO2 "actively reduces the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere". (quote from video description) Pre-incineration the feed stock (waste) has an estimated future GHG emission value. Combustion of the waste generates higher levels of GHG emissions in the atmosphere than landfilling the waste. The process of incineration front loads when these emission are released while the heat from combustion is used to generate electricity. Capturing some of the CO2 from the exhaust gases could reduce the front loading of these emissions is sequestered. If the CO2 is used to carbonate beverages, used in enhanced oil extractions or improperly sequestered, its release at a later date still adds to GHG levels in the atmosphere. Capturing CO2 from combustion does not "actively reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere". Only capturing CO2 directly from the atmosphere does this when the concentrated CO2 is properly sequestered. Incineration can have land use benefits but the exhaust gases are very harmful to human health. It is great to see they are capturing CO2 and I assume the PM 2.5, SO2, NOx and other harmful compounds. What is not happening is a reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere. Mitigated harm at best. We (the world at large) need to be honest about our impact on the environment. Often any effort to reduce harm is over stated as in this video. Be proud that you doing less harm but don't say you're healing when you're not.

@@Bfould3120 The trash contains wastes such as paper and other materials that are biological in origin. These got their carbon from the atmosphere. Thus if you capture this you could become net negative.

@@placeholdername0000 Sorry not how it works. Making paper emits between 600 to 2000 kg CO2eq per metric ton of paper product. Then combustion of the paper releases the stored carbon. The CO2 capture process described in the video only collects a fraction of the CO2 released during combustion. So again this is not a carbon negative process even if the captured CO2 is properly sequestered. Cutting down a tree and burying it so deep that the decomposition gases can't escape would be net negative emissions. The issue is all the production and transport related to paper uses large amounts of fossil fuels. Also municipal waste contains a lot of disposable plastic made from petroleum and this is a large component of the exhaust gases. Again capturing the CO2 from the exhaust gases reduces the harm, it does not reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.

@@placeholdername0000It's a power plant. Im assuming the CO2 came from natural gas combustion (at best). Turning it back into methane would turn this project into an advanced energy wasting machine
