I never liked Hope. Bing Crosby had 5 times the talent of Hope. I'd rather watch Sammy Davis Jnr than Hope any day. Hope was unfunny and boring.

It is so sad to watch these programs because they have all gone now. They entertained us like no other. All the entertainers have all gone now. I loved them all . Now Bert has gone. These were good programs. Never to see again except on u tube Thankyou. Goodbye dear entertainers. RIP.

I saw Bob Hope live in Vietnam 1966 and that's when I lost respect and admiration for him. He protested that we were not war-eager because we flashed the peace sign during his show. He said it was bad for morale. The bastard didn't have to carry a rifle during that unholy war so what does he know about it? Fuck him.
