My grandfather was a bellman at the Book Cadillac hotel in Detriot at that time, he was murdered by the Purple gang.

Looks great. Too bad a few people armed with a lot of misinformation have caused the election for the supervisor that has actually done good things for the township.

Typical Demcrate nonsense. They show photos of the drained muddy flats of the reservoir and then after the flats "green up," but no photos of the mill pond prior to draining. I wonder how long until it's, oh no, the old timers knew we need that dam, and the water controls it provides.

Yay now I get to see people walking on paths from my back yard. Miss the relaxing millpond and seeing the swans and heron who used to live on our property that has left after years.

Jose lied right off the bat. He's NOT a lawyer. While he may have a law degree from a Peruvian Law School, he has never had a law license in the United States and never practiced law a day in his life! He's more interested in getting his picture taken than he is in actually running the Township. His goal is and always has been to be an elected official, of any capacity. He didn't run for Supervisor because of a love of his Township. He ran for Supervisor for the perceived prestige of the office. I am disgusted that the other candidate for Clerk didn't even bother to show up and tell voters about herself. She's a Jose crony who has zero experience and knows absolutely nothing about what it takes to be a Clerk. Clerk Neubeck on the other hand, provided an excellent comprehensive yet succinct description of herself, her accomplishments, and her vision. If the other candidate can't even be bothered to give an interview, why should voters expect that she would give them the time of day when they come to Town Hall with a question or concern?

Jose is the most approachable candidate where he will answer any thing question you may have or address an issue an get back to you. What other previous Superviors have had such a charismatic smile and demeanor as him? NO ONE! he is not afraid to get business done or afraid to talk to anyone. Even if he is not sure, Jose makes sure he directs that citizen to the riht department to get their need taken care of.

I'm voting Whitney, He at least cares about the township. In case you are are not aware, The Supervisor squandered five times the legal budget and tried to conceal it until after the election. Then during the last meeting the little child went off the rails at a Trustee for texting him bad things and turned the township meeting into one big sham. Go listen to the township comments and tell me you are impressed as I'm not. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5vSeaOZa7-cg80 I am voting for Whitney, only person up there that went there to state his grieves to the baord, and had the guts to even call the board out on their inaction on failure to reign in the wayward Supervisor, Clerk and Treasure.

No pumps are needed to raise or lower the water in the locks. It is accomplished by opening or closing valves, and the water seeks its own level. (There are pumps so a lock could be emptied completely for maintenance.)

I lived in Clarkston as a child until I left to serve in the USAF after graduating from Clarkston High School. Some of the things that happened, took place when I lived there. The one that stands out to me was when Eric B Standring who was a high school sophomore, beat Paul Lammond to death. Paul & his wife, Alice, were such nice people. They always passed out full sized candy on Halloween. Eric Standring escaped jail time or worse with an insanity plea. He spent the rest of his life incarcerated in a sort of jail for the criminally insane. The Standrings were also a very nice family. The lived almost across the street from my parents home. They had several sons, only one daughter who was a few years younger than me. They had a very large home with a really big in ground swimming pool. Mrs Standring would sometimes phone my mother, asking her to send me to their home to play barbies with their only daughter, Eileen. She only had brothers & her mom wanted her to have female friends to do things with. The Standrings also would have lots of parties, they often would invite everyone in the neighborhood to their home to swim in their pool, bring foods to BBQ. When I went back to Michigan for a visit, with my brothers & sisters, I brought my daughter with me to the Standrings home. They were so very kind to me & my daughter. My daughter has very fond memories of that visit. Sadly, 4 of the Standrings children passed on at young ages. Their son who was my age, died in a terrible car accident shortly after graduation from Clarkston High School.
