Any videos on how you made your cab? I weld/fab quite a bit. Have looked all over KZbin and your cab looks the best. Any info is appreciated!

I'm a believer in LP Smart siding. I have a shed I built that's 20 years old using this siding. I never painted it and it's as solid as the day it was installed. My house is sided with it and that's going on 25 years old now.

whats the tick sound from the engine? mine has that and trying to figure it out
@workwithkevin23 күн бұрын
The tick you hear is the exhaust manifold cracked again. It's loud when start up then quiets after warm up. Another project.

I have a nail on my rear tire. I'm going to try your drill technique because I don't think I can use the tool to make the hole bigger for the plug since the wheel is a lot thicker.
@workwithkevin28 күн бұрын
I found a drill bit cuts through a steel belt easier. It's not good for a road tire, better to patch.

If you're worried about the chimney Cap coming loose I would spot caulk it as well maybe not all the way around but just enough to hold it in place. Also recommend that you don't forget to cut yourself another 4-inch hole couple of inches above your baseboard like you're installing a dryer vent (it's literally what you're going to do) to run and connect 4-inch vent pipe to the air intake on the bottom of your stove. If you don't put fresh air vent to the outside for the stove when it's running your stove will pull a negative pressure in your house and it also pulls out the heated conditioned air that it has heated causing you to burn more firewood. Basically same principal as a gas burning furnace.
@workwithkevinАй бұрын
Good idea. Thanks for watching.
@Brad.WАй бұрын
@@workwithkevin aye sir. Funny enough in some areas your homeowners Insurance requires you to run fresh air intake but they're not really necessary if you have leaks and cracks everywhere that fresh air can get sucked into anyway.

In rain and snow, best tires go on rear to prevent spinout/slide. had it happen multiple times from my in-law mechanic thinking best tires go on front of a fwd car. better to plow than to spin.

Nice video horrible product horrible directions a company should care more than to put out directions like they do. I watch your video. The parts are not numbered on the blister sheet. They have the parts numbered that should be a given that they should do that. I'll give this product one star

@ the problem is they have the wrong people writing the instructions they should have blue-collar people writing the instructions to keep it in simple terms. What's really stupid? Is there blister pack of parts are not numbered and labeled to match the instructions for easy installation. They couldn't take the time to do that.

For Subarus I have had good chance with Raybestos element3/bosch rotors and Akebono pads, a little pricier but less noise. Not to say there is anything wrong with Bendix but I have not had much luck with aftermarket brands besides those two, and you can get a coated Raybestos elemtent3 rotor to help prevent noise from rust buildup as you said the car sits a lot.

1.the ridge cap is incorrectly installed. you need to tuck it under roof sheets where it connects. 2. the boot covers are only used while walking on ground and should NOT be on while walking on the roof. you will slip around if you wear the covers on the roof making the boots pointless.

If is a screw down roof then watch out you could ruin the neoprene gasket under the screw . My neighbor learned the hard way 5 year old metal roof power washed and all you saw at the bottom of the gutter downspouts was pieces of those gaskets

Kevin, I have an older Paulan pro 235 and was having trouble with the chain oiler. Can you tell me how it’s supposed to work. The oil hose runs directly from the oil tank to the chain bar with no pump. I was thinking that maybe it uses the compression from the engine to force the oil to the bar. Any ideas?
@workwithkevin2 ай бұрын
Not sure I thought they were gear driven. Hose clogged? I accidentally dumped some wood chips in my reservoir and it clogged once had to clean out tank.

With that man lift, a chain saw and a hundred feet of 1/2” rope you should be able to take it down yourself without hurting anything. Alternatively you could practice felling trees in the direction you want safely in the woods behind those buildings

Use a leaf blower to blow off the grass debris after each mowing, then continue to blow off the rest of the tractor. It only takes 1 minute. buy a stop watch and time it. Once it's blown off you can then wash it if you want to, but then use the leaf blower again to blow off the excess water.
@workwithkevin2 ай бұрын
Now that I see debris getting inside is the problem I have the blower handy.
