Not trying to throw shade at Brady bc he is the goat of QBs, but if he played TE instead of QB he wouldn’t have gotten a single college offer at any level (D1, D2, D3 or Juco) coming out of HS. This is why I feel there should be 2 convos greatest QB & greatest football player, bc they’re 2 completely different things. A QB might be the best QB of all time, but to say he’s a better football player than a Ray Lewis, Aaron Donald, Gronk, Shannon Sharpe, Charles Woodson, Von Miller etc etc., is more than a bit of a stretch. As great of a QB as Brady was, he is no where near the level of football player Shannon Sharpe was, and if you really think he is, my advice to you would be to lay off the meth pipe.

Skip doesn’t deserve to by analyst by any means. He doesn’t like facts or statistics, instead resorting to name calling and deflecting when everyone in the room knows he’s wrong. He holds such a strong grudge since his high school “career” that he actually doesn’t see the irony of him basically saying who’s a pro is basically “bad”. Shannon Sharpe is literally a hall of famer. He wasn’t insulting Tom when he mentioned he was doing poorly that year. He was abiding by statistics that show that, something Skip doesn’t like to do. And he projects and deflects so much too. He can’t address almost any statistically wrong point he makes when he’s called out for making them, and results to name calling or driving the debate elsewhere to avoid having to answer. He’s a huge hypocrite too. He audaciously insult Shannon Sharpe and basically say he isn’t as good as Tom, basically insult anyone who literally has hall of fame numbers and poke jokes at Dak Prescott for having mental health issues. This is really funny to me, because not only does Skip have the emotional maturity of a preteen but he’s also never even made it to college level basketball and will nearly breakdown in tears if you call him out for essentially being a victim even during high school basketball. I understand that was a defining moment in Skip’s life. But professional basketball doesn’t care about your feelings or upbringing. It cares about your performance and the numbers you bring to the board. Skip really has to let that go if he wants to be respected as a sportscaster.
