What is the best way to start bolt action? I want to play but can’t justify the price of a starter kit
@WargamesGuru6 сағат бұрын
I would look for a wargames club in your area. Pop along and see who plays and go from there. You dont need the starter set. Check out the Facebook bolt action groups and see if their are players in your area.

i didn’t know that german panzer units were deployed to suppress the 44 uprising. iirc all the panzer units were effectively engaged in defensive battles against the soviets OUTSIDE of warsaw.
@WargamesGuruАй бұрын
Yes there were some used. Most of the tanks used by Germans in Warsaw in 1944 were mid-size tanks PzKpfw IV type. Those tanks composed the II Panzer Corps Hermann Göring that was stationed at Ulrichow quarter within the Wola district. Those tanks had considerable impact on the fate of uprising within the Wola detsistrict. There were Panthers too. Tigers are disputed, some polish reports claim that 5 tiger 1s were used. The sturmtigers were there as well. The tanks in the game proved not that great in the built up areas though.

Can't see the brave Constabulary, have they fallen in the line of duty? They were rhe best Force money could buy. IMHO
@WargamesGuruАй бұрын
Indeed, they helped fight the drones and Captain Vaughan Aeronaut and cinematographer managed to get the scientists to leave with him whilst the brave boys in blue distracted the tripods.......
@WargamesGuruАй бұрын
Ofcourse I will mention them dispatches....ahem.

Theres a few tripods on Yeggi. The cannons are 1890s 15 pounders they were bought a long while ago but a goggle search should find them or similar.
