You ain't stuck. Put it in 4hi press and hold the traction control button till the tc light and on the tach the stability control light, this shuts off the stupid sensor that's stopped you, next hit the damn gas , don't be friendly to it, these 5.3 can take it, I get through 21 inches of snow in iowa. Street slicks on a stock hight 2014 chevy silverado z71. 240k miles and counting. Happy wheeling.

Most of the time they would go in the rearend and flip the drive gear to the other side of the rearend so they are reversed.

@ron82710 ай бұрын
I think the only gear change required to reverse the tractor is to move the ring gear in the differential to the other side of the pinion. I could be wrong which is not uncommon for me.
@philippetays426310 ай бұрын
you are right , and some farmers years ago mounted a front end loader on the back ( this was before front wheel assist was availble). actually not that hard to switch around then gears
@szki27210 ай бұрын
I think they locked the transmission in reverse. Then bolted a second transmission behind that one because it looks longer than normal, and the shifter is where the seat would normally be.

@bishopcorva10 ай бұрын
I've seen these done with Case backhoes. The front loader is still there, there's a mast on the back. The seat pivots 180° like a door hinge, two steering wheels, hand throttle, and direction control. Three speed trans, 4wd. They were fairly common in the south of my state in and around truss manufacturing, construction, modular home builders, landscapers, golf courses, and a few other places. Finding one now is akin to stumbling over an actual unicorn. Most were worked to pieces and scrapped or something broke and the complexity just made it cheaper to junk and get something else.

It’ll just go down. Happens more often then you think. It’s not super fast coming down. Only goes up about 12 ft. These are very common in orchards to make trimming much easier, less tiring, and I think safer then being on a ladder
