Your prices on greens seems to be a lot more reasonable than here in Alberta. I would love to buy more greens. Mushrooms and broccoli look close. Same with Tofu. You do pay a bit more for potatoes. 5 lb for about 5 or less here. I stayed to end, but no oats or whole grains.

Are they the big Tofurkey sausages? You can fry them up whole or I like to cut them into smaller pieces. You can add them to things like chili or pasta or eat them in a hot dog bun. For breakfast, I would eat them with a little ketchup on the side with something else like oatmeal, cereal, potatoes, or a smoothie. Basically, you can use them the same way you would regular sausage. My favorite way to use the Tofurkey sausage is sliced up and sautéed with onion, sweet potatoes and kale and then added to a pasta sauce and served over pasta. Yum! I will have a video coming out soon that shows how to make your own “Just Egg” using split yellow mung beans. It’s really easy and delicious and has lots of protein! Plus it’s a lot cheaper than buying meatless sausage or packaged Just Egg. I hope that helps.

@JonesLeFae Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Sorry for the late response. I have never tried it in a slow cooker, but I'm sure it would work. I would maybe add a little water or broth so it doesn't dry out.
