I recently bought one of these. Same issues as you. It's incredibly noisy too. The high pitched noise the compressor emits is incredibly annoying in a small space. The manufacturer is perfectly happy to advertise how it's "as quiet as a library" at 47 decibels. It registers in the high 50ies decibels even at low fan speeds 10 feet away from the unit. Supposedly that's "just the fan", yes, that's what you buy the dehumidifier for, to run the fan only. The box even insists that if you live in a studio apartment, you really need that 50-pint unit. I don't understand in which universe these marketers live. The 35-pint unit is for "bedrooms" and the 22-pint unit is for "bathrooms". But the Amazon listing will tell you the 35-pint unit will cover up to 3000 sqft. Which is it?

Great question. Tbh thw dx. Theyre both excellent razors. I just like the more aggressive feel of the dx more even though being a shavette, they shave the same. If you are newer to shavettes get the ss if you are well seasoned with a feather artisan blade then the dx is a delightful step up... just pay closer attention to pressure and angle

Just bought this and used for the first time. Ive never use a dyson and heres my thought. Very hard to push compared to any upright ive ever owened. Not as maneuverable as i expected. Hate that it sucks from the handle as well when its upright, agree that its hard to move without leaning it way back or itll fall forward. The carpet (pile) settings are kind of confusing. Got it on sale at costco for 279 today.
@AverageReviewsYT4 ай бұрын
The gates are in order of least to most " suck down to carpet". The more open the gates, the better for taller pile. Medium ot short pile dont need that because it won't suck down as hard and form a seal. So watch the gates and adjust more open for easier to push and close for shorter pile or hardwood. If you have big debris, then open the gates. As for the sucking from habdle.. yeah.. I know... idr if there's a way to stop that, I don't belive there is. As for pushing and falling over.. yeah.. lol I know. Overall I think this was a collectors beauty, and wasn't as a deep cleaner as other high performing vacuums I have.. but.. still worth the 279 for sure.

The handles do suck for a pricey pan.

Even after getting a direct answer as to why... they still suck and are aweful. Sure it wont rotate as easily, but that realistically doesent happen much anyways.. if your grip is not strong enough, then get a lighter pan.

I'm guessing you're a bit disappointed with the difference?. I noticed you said it's twice the brightness...it's twice the lumens, but to get twice the brightness or intensity they say we need 3-4 times the lumens. This is why we often see the mode spacing on various flashlights as 3x the lumens.
@AverageReviewsYT6 ай бұрын
Great to see you Mr PTD. It was honestly as I expected, in my outro I mentioned the 4x as bright because I am aware that 2x as bright to us is actually 4x brighter. 2x as bright is actually just a little bit brighter.. it actually seems way brighter up close compared to at a distance like you would use, but getting a close up beamshot to actually show up on camera is not easy. I had a wall shot to show the difference but it didn’t seem very interesting, so I kept it out because I didn’t feel like it showed the difference because the camera toned them down too much and it wasn’t much different even with locking settings. In a scale of 1-10 for impressed I’m about a 6.. sure we all wanted it to blast the ms18 into oblivion, but at only 100% more power, that isn’t possible.. the flood being a lot brighter at a distance was a nice surprise. I measured throw at 1501m Vs 1301m for the ms18, so it’s obviously isn’t a huge difference in throw, just a brighter beam on its way out and I can tell. The issue now is that until we double 200,000 lumens, it won’t be much different… 400,000 lumens is going to be an insane challenge.. and likely not done for a very long time. Edit:1579m vs 1301m was remembering wrong test result for ms32.

Pro Is it really bright or will you feel dazzled when you turn it on for the first time? If you turn it on in a room, for example, how bright it will become. Sometimes the camera does not convey the true brightness of things because it reduces the light and sometimes increases it. It is important to determine how bright it is.
@AverageReviewsYT6 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s a constant battle with cameras and lights. I calibrated the first clip off a gt4 and I regretted it, but it was the best option without wasting throttling of the ms18.. even if I did though, the bushes in front of me were causing issues.. so it wouldn’t have been much different. As to answer your question, if you blast it in a room, and you are near a wall, it will be blinding for a couple seconds… way more so than the ms18.. which already blinded a lot.. there’s a huge difffernece in brightness up close, but at distance the brightness difference is slightly less.
@AverageReviewsYT6 ай бұрын
And btw, even though I wasn’t going to real life brightness and was going for brightness differences, the clips are true to life for what the brightness is like, minus the glare of course.
