I’ve learned to go for the engines as it weakens it faster and I believe it slows them down I’m not entirely sure though as I have not done that much testing, but feel free to try.

bro i got two really powerful guns from one of these if you have an rpg just use that it will take like three or four shots it the weak spots or have a bunch of just noemal tanks no need to hack them and you got free guns and stuff

Here’s my “strategy” to take them down (It’s a loose one and it’s up to you to decide wether the loot is worth it) 1: Find cover, these things will tear you to shreds so if one has seen you, find cover. 2: Wait For An Opening, never rush outside while it is firing or about to fire, wait for it to stop firing and that’s your cue 3: Hit It Hard, weapons that deal a lot of damage in a short time are perfect, if shotguns could be used on them effectively they would be the easiest enemy in the game, sniper rifles and the recoilless rifle are perfect. 4: Keep calm, don’t rush it, it will die eventually. 5: The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Literally, if their body falls into a battle between Russian machines and Swedish machines, you might have a problem, try to wait them out or at least wait until the battle kills some of the more dangerous machines. But if the body lands in an open field then you are in luck, just go and grab it. This strategy isn’t always reliable but it’s the best I know of, I have killed 10-15 Firebirds with this strategy.
