It's original demo for (Elan) Enterprise Computer 128k based on Z80 CPU.

Original Enterprise 64 owner here. Top marks to the composer. That is how the Dave soundchip is supposed to perform. I made similar noises come out of it back in the day, but not as melodically coherent as for this game. It's a refreshing change from the usual generic blip-blop from most conversions.

What's going on with the sound? It's all wrong.

Atari sound chip have 4 sound channels (SFX is played by the 4th channel). Enterprise sound chip have 3 sound and 1 noise channels (so SFX can be played by 3rd channel or by noise channel). Plus some sounds plays differently on EP than on Atari.

Wow! This a twofer for me, realising that you need all the same shape as well as colour for the Alchiems, plus learning that Enterprise Computers were once a thing (and here was me thinking I was pretty savvy about the 8-bit era). In any event, assuming it is a legitimate playthrough, my hat goes off to Zoldalma. This is not an easy game by any means and I never had the patience to make much progress with it myself, so well done, Sir, and thank you too for the video. (=^_^=)

Is there any way that you could make another video this time of the cpc version running alongside this enterprise version so we can make a direct speed comparison please? Surely the enterprise has 20kb of video ram whereas the cpc is only 16000bytes no? Does that make cpc faster? Also have you seen Stefan drissens video of the enterprise running an Amiga mod file it's got an 8mhz turbo enterprise be nice to see that running Chase h.q too!

What is the control set up for this on Retroarch ? Shift fires. Arrow keys work fine but I can't for the life of me figure out what the force release & retrieve is. Can't stay alive long enough to do it.
