I was there. It was absolutely exquisite both the playing and the location. Thank you Johnny for your dedication to the art and for the joy❤

Since I only play a 4-stringed violin, I cannot play the Suite VI with those octava bassa starting with measure 41. 😞

Fraseggio impeccabile, tecnica ineccepibile. Qualche tempo tuttavia l avrei eseguito con più respiro, maggiore serenità. Senza fretta, senza correre. Ma l esecuzione è nel complesso davvero magistrale! Complimenti vivissimi e grazie dalla Lombardia.

I was fortunate to have attended this concert, and came away with a new appreciation for these pieces. As a violist, I am familiar with the viola transcriptions, and the original cello versions. But this was a totally new experience. Your playing is exquisite. I will remember this special night at the Cloisters. Thank you.

- thanks very much for watching and listening. The volin was made in 2009 by Sam Zygmuntowicz. The bow is by Mark Drehmann.
