I will tell you why everyone was going crazy over the cigarettes at the duty free. It's because there is like no tax or something like that. people go to the duty free and then just turn back to sell the cigarettes and make a huge profit out of it. The practice is so widespread even one of my classmates (11th grade) goes with his dad like every two weeks over the weekend to buy cigarettes and sell them.
