Namaste my brother! Nepal is number one to me on the list of amazing destinations to share on my series! Except we will be riding Royal Enfields with local boys. Base camp on Mt Everest and hang gliding off the highest mountains.

I found that video fascinating - and also quite frustrating. As a female rider I find a very limited choice of gloves in any shop - there are not that many shops near me in North Wales either. I am currently wearing a pair I bought in California in 2011 all the time, they're summer weight which is fine as I ride a Can-am Spyder with lovely heated grips and lots of weather protection built-in. I have tried other gloves I've found, brought them home and then realised that the thumb parts are always too long! I didn't think I had an issue with short thumbs but maybe I have ;) My Spyder is semi-automatic and therefore I use my left thumb constantly to change up on the paddle shift, with the excess fabric in the gloves I have tried it feels less secure than it should when changing gear. I don't know if you have a solution for me, if there's a stockist near where I could go try some Motogirl gloves? (I have your leggings and love them - finally 'female' trousers!!) or if you can assure me that someone is actually *trying* to make more ladies gloves available.

I was thinking of buying one but don't like the "IOT" aspect, "we can see the status of the vehicle at all times" "push over the air updates to the vehicle" . Can I disconnect that feature, is it optional? If so I'll buy one. I don't like the idea of someone having remote access to a vehicle I own.

Average distance travelled is heavily waited to the city centres where there is larger population pools. Maybe that's where he thinks most sales will come from, but most people in the city area don't even own a vehicle. What if you wanted to do door dash with one of these bikes? Limitation on distance is the biggest factor in most peoples decision (from people I have talked to) for not taking up on e bikes, at least if you run out of fuel you can easily get petrol, which makes distance even more important. But Australia is a large spread out country, at the moment e bikes are only viable for city use. He's being a bit disingenuous when he says the market will decide when the government has decided already through legislation, sure they are the future, but there is a reason why they are not selling now. There's the legislation reason why people are interested, because we'll all be forced to go e soon. Interesting Q and A, but if he wants to create a point of difference from the competitors other than aesthetics, concentrating on distance would be the one I would encourage, otherwise it'll just be like every other e bike out there. I'm watching this space because I'm interested, but nothing in it suits my needs living in the outer suburbs where work isn't an office job, only the livewire comes close and is around the 40k mark.

I'll add that an ideal would be a bike that can go 150km/h, has a range of at least 300km on the freeway, regen breaking that's adjustable to be as aggressive as you want in each mode (more to give the feel of engine breaking and the gears, adjustable would be great to have it how you like) and costs 25k or less. Everything else really doesn't matter that much, that's the kind of thing I would jump on, but I'm not sure the technology is close to providing that, there really needs to be some big leaps forward in battery tech and quick.

@@thebikerbarvideo Yea I couldn't make their Q and A. I was hoping some of their bikes could be in the wild and riders share their experience. Last I checked on them it was a June/July delivery of their first builds. Been burnt a couple of time by pre-ordering something before it has been shipped.

Thank you, Jackson and Pat, for a very interesting and enjoyable interview. Excellent questions and a calm, comfortable style with story-telling answers that drew me into the events being described. The video intro to the Doco-Series was brilliant. Very keen to see The Savage Roads.

36:42 You mentioned that when we find ourselves with too much speed in a turn, then we can do one of two things: brake, or lean further. Either of these two solutions requires practice. You recommend practicing leaning. But wouldn't it be better to practice braking too so we can choose the option that is most suitable for that particular situation? A typical cruiser has a maximum lean angle of 30 degrees. At 30 degrees there is still a lot of traction left, the bike is unlikely to lose traction with progressive braking. Going wide is far more dangerous than "upsetting the chassis". Panic is caused by being in a situation where the only way to avoid a crash is to do something that we have not practiced. So practice leaning, but also practice braking mid-turn with smooth transitions.

An interesting take on lack of sales to millennials. This age bracket seems to be overly risk averse in comparison to the heydays of the British motorcycle industry. Make a bike easy to live with and easy to operate with good passive and active safety embedded. Only then can we change attitudes and buying trends.
