@ when I did the Builders Cup you could only upgrade by using the old system of ranking up the car. For me I always chose handling upgrades first and beat them on the corners. 😉

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I feel the same way about NMS, it's my go-to game to chill out, although it can cater for more exciting gameplay too. Most of all, the sense of freedom. There's nothing you MUST do, and plenty you CAN do.

Good luck! :) Incidentally the base I featured was in galaxy 15, not 14, and probably isn't all that interesting, as I tend to make small functional bases rather then big sprawling castles. The only thing I added to it after the video was a couple of bio-domes of Nip Nip buds, which are good for a few million units but not much else.

If you beat his time and it was a clean lap but the game didn't say so then that sounds like a bug, FH5 has plenty of those. I'd suggest raising a ticket but the answer from the devs is always the same: "I'm marking your problem as solved" so if it was me I wouldn't bother. Thanks again for the kind words :)

@northernlemming yeah I think it did bug out. I've successfully completed it now. It's genuinely nice knowing the community is still going strong for this game. I've recently got a wheel too and have been having a right laugh with it. It's by no means competitive in FH5 but yeah great fun.

@@daveleaverdl I thought long and hard about getting a wheel but decided against it when people advised me that controller is better. I still think I'd like the immersion, though, so maybe one day.

Thanks :) It turns out it's just practice. I enter every daily free tournament, three out of four are wiggly stick, and those I tend to enter several times. I still can't grok draw and fade though, so that's the next thing to learn.

Beginner. First golf game, never played golf IRL. But I'm having fun. If you have any tips for how I can improve my game, I'll be more than happy to hear them.

Hi mate, I've spent skill points mostly on Approach and Short Game, avoided putting anything into Power until I'd got those two up a bit. I approached it by trying to pick up new skills rather than improve particular abilities. But please bear in mind I'm a beginner at this, I've never played golf IRL and this is the first golf game I've played, so don't take this as advice. I found the left-stick hard at first, I'm still not as comfortable with it as I am with three-click but it doesn't stop me entering competitions that use it, and you get a nice bonus of Pro Pass points in Tournaments no matter where you place. Today's daily free is an arcade though, so that's nice :)

@@northernlemming cheers bud 👍 im kinda going a bit cautious with applying skill points too, gradually and fairly evenly spread. i did put 3 into putting to get the texas wedge which allows you to putt from off the green 😮. ohh a free arcade daily, cool 🥳 might give it a whirl 👍

Free arcade: Keep trying until you birdie every hole. At 4x Par 3, that's hard, but it can be done.
