Also, is buying behringer xm8500 with a cheap 20$ audio interface better than the above options considering I'll be using AM8 or HD300t in USB mode but if i buy behringer, I'd get a cheap audio interface. Audix with +3 presence boost sounded best to me. The RE20 Black is my beloved and this with a +3 boost sounds like a little bit thicker RE20. Agree that the price difference makes it not worth it though. At $600 it would make it an actual consideration against an RE20.

Hi, I just bought this mic, in fact I bought two and both of them have horrible interference humming noise. It is changing when I move the mic arround the table. It is very loud when I use jack right on the mic. I also tried it only with usb connected to my phone and jack to mic in different room and it was still there. Is it something this mic does to you to? or it is just my bad luck. Also both of the boxes I bought was very clearly returned before by someone, even tho I bought them as new, maybe because of this issue? I am not sure if I should return it and try again or just give up on this mic.

Mic 2 and 6 were definitely my favorite and lo and behold they were both the Lauten! I own both the RE20 and SM7B but I think the Lauten is going to be my next mic purchase.

I came across this video and the Røde VideoMic Go II. I'm looking for an all in one mic that I can use on my iphone 13 pro max to record my sons basketball games, my daughters cheer competitions, shows at Kings Island and Cedar Point, travel vlog videos. Is the Røde VideoMic Go II going to be my best option or is there something else I should consider?

I never like being negative about a product cause i know all the work that goes into putting out a product, but I'm not a fan of this. Handling noise, proximity and plosives, freq. response, noise, all issues. For $150 its not terrible, but I kinda feel there are better mics in that price range. Compared to the other cheaper mics, the mic sounds better with the exception of the Q2U. Why is the built in pre clipping at -11?! PS: Sam Goodie Got It!

The USB-related clipping issues are certainly noteworthy but the most remarkable thing to me is that the budget brand mics actually sound way better than the "brand name" USB broadcast-style dynamics Rode, Shure, are you OK bros?

I'm using OBS Studio and I want to know if I can use a filter to improve my voice quality as I have a Focusrite Vocaster Two. Do I need one? I previously used USB and filters, but I'm only asking because I'm using the Focusrite Vocaster Two now. If I don't need any filters, I don't have to worry about it.

Ok as much as I love FiFine, they haven't actually made a real CLONE of the SM7b, with the way the XLR jack is... I just love the look of this mic so much and I legit could not tell the difference between them. This might just replace my K688. I already have the audio interface and XLR cable. That's an upgrade! Just a tad expensive lol Edit: Did you do any post processing to the X ??
