the hit the corner too hard, the slight camber of the road had their inside tyres come off the road then the whole thing rotated, only to over-correct and eat bush

@WanderingSoulVideos attachment to front of car to warn animals to keep away. Has a high pitched noise only they can hear. We had a large male kangaroo hit the bonnet & front window. We had to limp back to town. I was more upset because a beautiful full grown male was dead. That week we went to get the roo shoos and didn't have a problem.

@Rose-jz6ix I've heard from several friends about bad roo hits that have even totaled their cars. We see so much road kill on the sides every time we travel. We were lucky as this small wallaby turned and jumped away - probably just a tail nudge. It hopped away and we didn't have a scratch. This was a 12 seater and hence not very stable.

@Rose-jz6ix I've heard of a similar thing in the US to ward off deer.

@@WanderingSoulVideos try at car part places like Repco or Super cheap auto parts. If all else fails he that must be obeyed said he will look for his old one.

Or why they drive so fast.

Looks like they totally misjudged their lane change or were distracted.

I agree - with the wide angle dashcam it doesn't look close. In real life, he was distracted and started moving in before I reached the intersection and he braked sharply as I crossed him and I could see that in the rearview mirror. Doesn't seem very obvious with the dashcam angle. The car behind me had to swerve a little too.

I always am cautious at this junction as I use it everyday. Seen a few dings with cars bumping into each other.

@@daviddou1408 some people love running on hard surfaces for some reason. My knees ache if I do that and stopped doing that a few years ago.

@@ANDREWLewis-p9j aren't there signs indicating when it's a bike lane and when cars can be parked on it?

@WanderingSoulVideos yes it's clearly marked as a cycle lane. Mind you, the cyclists don't use it they ride on the pavement, and our council spent 3 million on it and it's worse than before

@@ANDREWLewis-p9j Yeah I've seen many places where the bike lane is basically just a painted line towards the edge of the road.... the cyclists won't use it because there's often drain grates &/or an accumulation of road debris like small stones, bottles, glass, cans, twigs, leaves etc. that all pose a potential risk.... I can't blame them.

@jamescollins8397 if you nearly get knocked over by a bike stepping out of your gate that is going the best part of 35 kph I would blame them our lane is 1.5 metres wide and has bollards to separate cars and bikes

@@ANDREWLewis-p9j in Adelaide, some of the bike lanes are time-specific. They serve as bike lanes in peak traffic times and parking is allowed overnight or in the afternoons. It's annoying as the cars parked occupy the bike lane and block half a car lane too.

All the big companies are spying on everyone!!
