Note: go to your Advanced System Settings in Computer (right-click) -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings. It should be a panel option on the left side of the window. Hello as you know there are no windows updates anymore for 2012R2, we have ftp servers that need to be upgraded to 2019, if you were to do this process today do you think it would still work...the reason I am considering doing an inplace upgrade is because the ftp support sucks...and this seems far better than dealing with a company that no longer has good people when migrating their software over to a 2019 server...

My case: Have two 2012 R2 DCs. (one in each site) Added two 2022 Servers - promoted to DCs. Failed prereq because 2012 servers still replicating over FRS. Changed to DFSR Now I have users who cannot log into RDP sessions because replication is not quite right. It might be because of KRBTGT Worried what using the change KRBTGT password tool will do to my domain.

Could you please recommend PS script, which would create laps.admin local user account on all domain computers? What about DC, should there also be created same user laps.admin, or need to skip this step? Need to use only Administrator on a DC? How to provide access for help desk unit to see that LAPS password? Their AD rights are very limited, ofcourse. Thanks for video.
