Unreal how he can blend his music into this crowd and still keep the integrity of his songs. He's a hell of a good guitar player

This song guts me everytime I hear it. My ex husband had tried to kill himself. Thankfully, I got him to the hospital in time. But, He was put on dialysis because the attempt shut his kidneys down. He did it on my birthday too, which is a couple weeks before Christmas. He was in the hospital under intensive care, and I had to work. My last working day before Christmas, I was driving to spend it with him, and this came on. I was so overwhelmed with everything, and the song hit me hard. I broke down in tears and had to wait to go in. That was 6 years ago and when I hear the song, I still weep. Some songs just hold emotional responses, and this is one. ❤ I miss the good times we had, but not the emotional trauma he put me through.

This in my humble opinion is the time in his music career when Sturgill really shines as a player. I loved Little Joe, but if he had not left the band would we have ever seen this!

The guys voice is insanely on point. His voice needs to be played on the radio every day. His style is exactly what country music radio needs to bring back.

Im sure When In Rome would be proud of Sturgils interpretation....moving in a different way. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTUFUL!

I'm not that big on the band, no disrespect just not my thing. That being said, a couple of the songs on sound and fury are up there with the best songs that have come out this century

I love his version of this song. What saddens me, is that there are people there who think this is original. I go through this with my daughter all the time.
