Wow!!! Thanks for sharing and bringing back childhood memories of my home town. My dad retired from Lamco the beginning of 1978 and haven’t been there since but my birth place(K extension ) is always on my mind. Watching your video this created nostalgia.

No, there's no longer COVID restrictions when traveling to Liberia. Just make sure to have proof of COVID vaccine.

No, not really. We purchased the land from a family friend who purchased it back in the 70s/80s when lands were very cheap.

We left Yekepa fifty plus years ago. It's remarkable to see how pristine much of it still is. I was somewhat surprised to see how small the Arcellor Mittal living area is. I'd be curious to know who actually lives in Yekepa now. Where do they work?

Thanks for sharing. This is the situation in Liberia, no roads in most communities in the city what more about farm road. It is very challenging for farmers. Keep the faith.

Hope the road from Liberia and Guinea is safe ? If I may ask driving from seria Leone to Guinea or from Liberia which 1 is better?

Well, I've not driven the Guinea, Seria Leone road before, so I do not know how the road conditions are between those two countries. But I can tell you that the road between Guinea and Liberia is a dirt road and it is very challenging driving on it. The good thing is that we drove to Guinea during the dry season, so that was a plus. But I can imagine how difficult it may be to drive on it during the rainy season. There are measuring cups that have 2/3rd on them. It's usually the glass kind.
