I watched it on the 16th in hull and it was amazing and my sister does ballet so she was pointing out all the steps that she recognised which was funny

If only the score was by one of Queen Victoria’s favourite composers . . . She adored Bellini’s _I puritani_ didn’t she?

ngl, feziwig party, everyone beside bell, young scrooge, Fezzywig and Mrs. Fezzywig, should wear a mask because scrooge is only supposed to remember the important people not random people at the party. great ballet

When I come back in my next life, I'll be a ballerino, and the Very First role I'll learn will be Mercutio! This is my favorite scene in the ballet . . . poor doomed Mercutio! Prokofiev's score is beyond brilliant.

I wish I could see Romeo anf Juliette again. My first ballet and in my mid sixties. I went because I had never been before with my 17 year old son and we did not expect to enjoy it much but hey ho do these things once. We were blown away. Not what I was expecting at all. I went again 3 days later and loved it just as much. I had a vision in my head of ballet and that was not it. The dance was a mix of what I would call modern with a ballet background. And the staging or whatever it was called was a visual and stunning variety of mix. Yesterday I saw Giselle in Manchester now that was what I expected ballet to be. It may have been technically amazing to those that know - er not me - but it was dull. No real story line - no real texture in scenery/staging or dancing - just women on tippy toes and men in tights. I exaggerate but if that was the first ballet I had seen it would have been yeah done that not for me. I saw Beauty and the Beast at Leeds again good and visually varied. So despite the lack of live music I am going to give this a go. I was going to skip it because of that but the few clips here were enough for me to see the visual treat it will be. I would be interested to hear any more knowledgeable replies to my comments.

I humbly present the 3rd movement of my Piano Concerto No 2, a boisterous jaunt through a fugue, then a gigue, slows down to an arabesque type dance, then becomes an all-out romp, and that's just the preview! Hope to lift your Autumn spirits! kzbin.info/www/bejne/npzVoXl4hsmroNk Thanks!

Stunningly beautiful in every possible way. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of this piece. It is going to be the first thing I view every day, just before I start on the boring round of work tasks that must be done that day. It will probably be the last thing I watch every day too, just to remind me that there are far more beautiful, evocative, soothing, interesting and rewarding activities in life than my work.
