You don't necessarily need a full greenhouse. a clear plastic tarp would already help al lot. And even a greenhouse won't keep you safe from that. I got a glass greenhouse and a poly tunnel. Both have the same problem, with brown mold. Not even half as bad your plants have it apparently, but it's simply not a good year for tomatoes here. Slow and very wet spring. and even summer is comparably cool and wet...

@@ClashClash89 I have a 7x7x15 greenhouse that I have near the garden and I use to start various plants and tomatoes.. the ones in the greenhouse seem to not be getting the fungus and I’m going to keep starting tomatoes.. Thank you .. I’ve had these seeds in rotation for about 4 years now with different types Typically I don’t get this and get a lot of tomatoes . We haven been above average with rain and we just 5in on Sunday .. I have plants started in my greenhouse that I can’t get out there and when I do they get destroyed by the rain .. I’m going to let the tomatoes grow in the greenhouse to see if they can produce .. but yeah I list about 30% of my tomato crop … the zucchini and corn are having issues .. Mother Nature really threw a curveball this year

I'd recomend growing celbrety plus tomatoes or big beef tomatoes, they have some disiease resisitence, you can also graft the tomato with a fortamino tomato plant as a rootstock which will also give diease resistence and more fruit, you could also try growing your tomato plants at a differant time

Very nice harvest! I’ve seen people cut the bottom out of those big plastic buckets you washed in, fill with soil and grow the plants in that above ground. Then come harvest time you just lift the bucket & the potatoes all fall out with the soil 😋

Your leaving way too much potato on the sprouted eye. Just trim eye off with quarter inch o spud. You can eat the rest. It does not make tater grow better leaving it all on. It just will rot and be there when you dig in fall.

I'm considering a patio heater that i want to convert to a hi-top bar style table. This looks like it would help keep both upper and lower body parts warm..... but just how low a burn can it go? I don't want to have to make the table top (maybe glass?) 8+ foot diameter 😅

What pellets are you using? I have one and looking for better pellets to use. Have been using the tractor supply heat pellets but they don’t put out as much heat as it looks like yours is and mine is wide open. Those look like charcoal pellets just curious if you have found some that work better than others and keep cost down.
@williamnorthrop99538 ай бұрын
I use a pellet called Java Flame .. it’s an amazing pellet made out of coffee grounds.. I use them in my house pellet as they produce over 11500 btu .. I use a pellet called fusion blend in the outside heater as the haves pellts are more expensive.. Ive been running pellets for 20 years and I found that any big name store brand pellets have low heat output and high ash .. I recommend going to a pellet dealer if there is one in your area to get better quality pellets.. you’ll pay more but use less and clean less with better heat output . What kind of stove do you have ? Insert / free standing ?
@donguerra74628 ай бұрын
I purchased the same flame pro pellet patio heater from Costco. Thanks for the advice on the pellets I will take a look around and see what I can find to improve the usage.
@williamnorthrop99538 ай бұрын
@@donguerra7462 no problem.. the same thing happens with the patio heater . Better quality pellet better heat . The coffee pellets throw a lot of heat but too expensive for the patio heater .. the wood pellets have less heat but not terrible..
