Crowd work is marketed as an improvisational test and proof of wit. The secret is that the typical responses from a stand-up's prompts are sufficiently predictable that the stand up can plan and be ready for them. So then, how is that any better or worse than what a stand-up is already doing in their prepared material? It's not, it's just different. It's entertainment either way, can be quite good, and is deserving of respect in its own right. I get the point you're trying to make, though I'm not sure it's strongly made.

Modern day Martin Eden vibes. Imo you are the best stand up comedian atm and this entire joke is particularly A+. This special is my go-to recommendation if I need to recommend something to friends who are obviously way smarter, because as an avg guy it feels kind of safe bet that they will get even more out of this, as they will likely get all that meta you packed into the bits.
