@LifewithErin777 it's been 4&1/2 months out since I was forcibly stopped. I went to the er 6 times with symptoms of clonazepam withdrawal and 3 times admitted for suicidal ideation even though that wasn't the problem. A psych ward is humiliating and traumatizing. The last time I put in my 72 because the pa threatened to epc me. I have already lived that hell and I will never say or do anything that they can use against me . I can't find an accurate time line for symptoms. 2 weeks-years. I already have neuropathy and now it's so bad I can't walk. Agoraphobia, derealization,depersonalization,extreme fear,can't sleep,water retention-which I haven't seen that symptom mentioned-tinnitus is blocking everything out,etc. I'm 61 and I can't wait for years. I'm alone. I appreciate the comments but I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. A minute is an hour. An hour is a day,a day is a month and a month is a year. I know that the doctors know about the withdrawal . They won't chart the truth. They charted "withdrawal from a certain medication ". I know I've said a lot but I'm hoping that someone else has the same symptoms and can help. I don't understand why they did this to me. Someone could have helped me with a slow tapper. I was prescribed 6 mg a day for years and there was no informed consent.

@@LifewithErin777 unfortunately I’m not on a taper right now. I’m just prescribed the clonazepam. I’ve always done a five day detox and it’s been horrible. So next time I detox it will be a long taper.

I always had the slimy film on my tongue during withdrawal like for the first two months and ring in my ears like you wouldn’t believe I couldn’t work for two years

Ooh maybe it will retrain your muscles. It will be sore for a little but the splint might really help..fingers crossed. I also wonder if chiropractic would help..if youre like me and dont want a neck adjustment they can use a tool..I do wonder if they work on TMJ. Omg, the hair show! How fun.

Yes I did from gabapentin withdrawal they lasted about three months for me and I saw them day and night when Iooked at the lights never saw the car thing just halos around lights hope this helps get well soon.

I'm reading there's alot of tooth pain with benzo withdrawal and even when teeth are pulled etc, the pain persists since its really nerve pain/damage, not teeth/dental pain

I understand not wanting to get your tooth pulled but I would get it pulled it’s in the back no one can see it. I heard bad things about getting root canals they’re not good to be getting. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and didn’t go under cuz I don’t like taking any meds. Still in shock what I have to go through to get off benzos

Hi Erin! I’m almost 11 months out, and I am doing better in a lot of ways. But I still get waves myself, and my life is crazy right now! For one thing, I am moving, the decision came up really fast. I’m praying for you in Jesus’s Name, and praying that the TMJ will get resolved as well. My grandmother had it for most of her life, it caused roaring in her ears. All my love and hugs, Erin ❤️💖🙏🤗❤️
