No, I don’t think it’s necessary to zero gap them, me personally, I don’t zero gap any of my clippers, only my trimmers. I suggest you just leave them how they are and not mess with them cuz u could end up messing up the blade

Definitely bro, If you get used to using the lever opened as your .5, you really need to take your time using the 1 guard, that way its much easier to erase that line with your lever opened. It’s a technique that will definitely make you faster if you really practice and get used to it.
