He can't use the domain for 48 hours after a death sentence

People hate to admit it, but these types of fights are basically what Boruto does best. The Momoshiki and Jigen fight are the best examples. The Jubbidara and Kaguya fights was chock full of monologue, backstory, slow motion attacks to spoon feed what all actually happens. Hell even the final valley fight is a lot more of a Boruto style fight than either of those.
