You can replace it with an used pre-2017 LG 6000 BTU Air Conditioner like the LW6013ER (2013) or LW6016R (2016, last model) for example as thoses are well made with a black plastic divider instead of Styrofoam. Their newer post-2017 6000 BTU LGs unfortunately have styrofoam, but their LW8023ERSM 8000 BTU models is still available on the oficial LG website and it still kinda have the black plastic divider, althought it partially have styrofoam on the bottom part of the divider, but LG is still better quality than Haier or Midea. The reason why older Friedrichs were great it was because they were actually made by LG. Unfortunately, newer Friedrich are made by TCL which is another chinese company, similar to Haier and Midea.

Remember that the LG 7600 BTU window air conditioner has a heat pump so you can use that for all season

When you upgrade your air conditioner you can go with Frigidaire or Hisense I like the Hisense portable air conditioner like the 6000 BTU version even it’s so tiny though it’s very quiet for a portable air conditioner lowes has good ones but Lowe’s has a LG 7600 BTU air conditioner with Heat Pump because you can use it all season so you don’t have to use the portable heaters anymore LG has good air conditioners I like but only the window unit but I like midea Hisense and Frigidaire air conditioners because the digital controls but one problem with Frederich air conditioners the digital controls doesn’t have a beep noise, which they need to have so that way it beeps to know what you’re controlling it with the controls that’s why air conditioners should have a beep noise for their digital electronic controls with the remote control so yeah I suggest you can get the LG 7600 BTU window air conditioner

My dad brought me a General Electric 6,000 btu wall air conditioner that i don't like, when i turn on my air conditioner, it is on ECO mode every time, and the compressor keep turning off when i switch it to cool mode, and i got pissed off 😡

I only like LG, Friedrich chill, Kenmore, and goldstar air conditioners

This general electric window air conditioner sucks because of styrofoam and it has a weak air flow

The ballast cannot run an LED. The ballast is not meant for these LEDs. If you tried to screw it in the bulb would just blow up.

I’ve been using my Midea 14,000 duo w/heat in heat mode and it works great. I think there are sensors and such that get a temp of 120 when set to 86 degrees and the compressor speeds up slows down to get these numbers
